Has Herndon EVER broken up a pass? All I see is him struggling to make the tackle after the completion.

18 PD's and 3 INTs in 2019/2020

He's only played in two games this year and he's coming off injury.

He's not starter material, but he can be a solid back up if he returns to form.

Exactly. I have rewatched it myself a dozen times on replay. Some people were saying his finger was bent back or something, no idea what they've smoking because there's nothing in the video that looks remotely like that. The ball bounced high and Agnew's hands never touch the ball. Thankfully for us for once the refs weren't hallucinating.

His fingers slightly moving backwards on his left hand says otherwise..

You can see the ball slightly shift as well. It wasn't much, but he touched it.

Not to "toot my own horn", but Liam Eichenberg looked pretty good at LT for the Dolphins. He was the guy I desperately wanted to draft, but we passed him over twice for Travis Etienne and Tyson Campbell. He could have been an immediate contributor to this O-Line. Oh well. Another miss.

Speaking of Tackles, I'd have to go back and re-watch the game, but it felt like the OLine as a whole was starting to get beat towards the end of game. I do think I recall Taylor letting his man by several times. Kudos to Trevor for getting rid of the ball when he can. I'm really curious to see where Little is at in terms of being activated. 2nd round pick. Did we really use a 2nd round pick on someone that won't be able to contribute this year? I think this Oline still has some major renovations needed.

That’s actually the definition of tooting your own horn.

Pretty much every tackle we have went up against has looked good against this defense.  Josh Allen beat him a few times today though

I've watched both angles at least a dozen times closeup on a large screen tv and keep pausing it.  The angle that you are showing is 100% worthless because the finger in question is ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BALL.  If I'm standing half way behind a fence, you have no idea if I'm waving at you or giving you the middle finger.  You have to look from the other side of the fence to know.  In your video, you can't see space between the finger and the ball because that space is on the other side of the ball.  If you look at the play from the other angle, there is always grass between his hand and the ball.  The finger that you keep obsessing over begins moving prior to the ball getting there.  He's moving his fingers back to prevent himself from touching the ball.  It's simply impossible for there to always be green grass between his finger and the ball if he touched it.  Not only is there not enough evidence to overturn the call, but I consider it irrefutable that he didn't touch the ball.  Good call by the refs.

Exactly this.

Everyone would be "tooting" their horns for the past 6 weeks if they clamored for any offensive linemen starting against our defense for the most part.

This video is too compressed so frames are missing. The slowmo shot on TV shows the finger moving backwards. It wasn't clear though because the NFL refuses to make the broadcasters update their cameras. Everything should be 4k and high-speed cameras. The way his finger moved doesn't happen unless the ball hits it but no way to clearly tell.

I liked him too, but preferred Rashawn Slater.  Either of them would be a huge upgrade for the O-line over Cam Robinson or Jawaan Taylor.

His finger didn't move at all in that video.  I don't see what you say you're seeing.

True, but Eichenberg got his first start at LT against Tampa Bay last week and played equally as well, so it wasn't just against us. As far as him not winning every play, of course not. The kid is a rookie. He didn't allow any sacks though and he held Allen from making any big plays. For a rookie in his 2nd start at LT, that's impressive. Especially given how many injuries we've had a long our own O-Line, so far this season.

His finger didn't move at all in that video.  I don't see what you say you're seeing.

It’s based on his loathing of Urban Meyer.
Agnew shouldn’t have attempted to play a ball which struck the ground first because of bad coaching by Urban Meyer. If it had been called since it so ‘obviously hit his finger’, then the Jags would have lost because of bad coaching by Urban Meyer. This victory is hollow because of the bad coaching by Urban Meyer. Had we lost, as we should have, it would have been another arrow in the quiver to kill the coaching position of Urban Meyer.

What we saw on that play is seen around the NFL. Returners move towards a bouncing ball instead of away from it and I don't understand why. That play yesterday absolutely should never happen no matter who it is and Meyer and everyone else should coach it out of those players.
