I think, barring injury, he will surpass the mountain that is Fred Taylor, in yards and Tds. He’s naturally gifted in his vision and cuts. Has deceiving speed and power as well.

He'a a stud, but he's got about 1/5 of Freddy's god-given athletic ability. 

I'll cheer him on to the end, but i don't see him getting near those numbers.

I've been telling all my friends this. I said a broke man's emmitt smith. His height and weight are similar. Speed probably the same and he just picks holes and runs with great vision. Those extra yards he gains helps so much. On a negative, he does drop the ball once in a while when you dont expect it when pass catching.

MOJO falls more in line with bell cow running backs. And man he was fun to watch.

Robinson is a gem and his balance is amazing. I love the guy but he isn't Fred or MOJO.

Way too early to compare or think he will be Fred. I love me some JRob. But he’s not even gotten to mojo level, yet alone Freddy T. He’s got the skill and talent to get there. Only time will tell.

Emmitt Smith is the best comparison I can think of.  Emmitt was not big and not fast, but he was just a great football player.  He avoided solid hits and made a lot of yards after contact.  Just like James Robinson. 

I hope we can get more carries for Carlos Hyde, because this is not the year we want to wear out James Robinson.  Running backs have limited tread on their tires.  I'd like to see James Robinson playing at his peak on a contending team.

Agreed. Freddy was an athletic freak with his combination of speed and size which very few could match. JRob is not that guy but then neither was Emmitt. Of course Emmitt might be the GOAT so it's an unfair comparison. With that said, JRob as long as he continues to improve (and is called in often enough) should be a multi-probowler, easily.

One thing though. Emmit had a great OL most of his career. JRob has been working with average to good never great most of his career thus far. I think if the OL can reach a more consistent level of great play (or stay healthy even) he could be even better.

Dude is contacted behind or at the LOS and makes plays anyway a lot.

there have also been alot of bigs runs called back on Robinson this year too. at least two that were 15 + and also one if Robinson had Blocked would of been 25+ instead of 9. we have a Star Running back that no one talks about. lets keep it that way. 5 TDs after 6 games. while basically only playing in 3.
