And to think, all it took was a Defensive Coordinator recognizing that his personnel was better suited to zone coverage and making the necessary adjustment. Cullen showed the ability to adapt to what he had. Too bad the rest of the clowns on this offensive coaching staff can't do the same. I know he is just a first year Coordinator, but Cullen is the smartest guy on the coaching staff and should replace Meyer.

Bevell should go after this first year. I don't care about Lawrenece learning a new system because the current one sucks. Instead of catering to Lawrence's strengths all year they try to fit a Square peg into a round hole. They are just now trying to cater to Lawrence's comfort level. Starting to feel this way too. Carlton told Prico today they should replace the entire offensive coaching staff. Calling out not only Bevell but Warhop too and the receivers coach as well. Priscilla pretty much agreed with all of that

And the fact that they drafted a guy at 33 who doesn't fit their system is disgraceful. Cullen shouldnt have to change his system to accomodate high draft picks, high picks must fit the system.

• Laviska Shenault is a weapon to be used more like a Ty Montgomery hybrid than a slot or (gulp) now an X receiver. 
  
• Knew he'd have trouble at both tackle spots and prepped Little for work at RT
  
• Asking a rookie QB to throw more vertical routes and fewer high completion % throws than nearly every QB in the league is a recipe for disaster
  
• His line blocks better than it protects
  
• Spelling Robinson for Hyde on critical downs is not a "fresh legs" upgrade, it's a talent sacrifice
  
• His receivers and QB haven't been on the same page since week one route-wise - and it isn't getting better
  
• He never had anything at TE all offseason and he needed to get creative there - keeping Collin Johnson would have been wise in the redone / F-routes dept.

It seems pretty clear the discussion, analysis, and alignment of scheme-fit prior to acquiring players was haphazard at best.
Meyer should have been working in concert with Baalke/Bevell/Cullen there but instead - they seemingly phoned it in.

I mean, when you inherit a roster with a James Robinson on it and neither the HC nor OC seem to have the faintest clue of his worth, you know good and well personnel-related things were handled poorly from the get-go.

Campbell has been far and above the most impressive rookie from this past class for us. You can tell by his body language as of late that he's getting a lot of confidence too.

One of the biggest bright spots we have this season. This pick he made was great gamesmanship. He relied on his speed to squat on a route and bait an inexperienced QB. Even more impressive, was the pick that he dropped. I'm pretty sure he was in deep third coverage against Cooks. Cooks was running inside down the seem but the ball was thrown to the outside shoulder. week 1-4 he would have gotten tangled up with Cooks and flagged for PI. Yesterday he got his head around, two hands on the ball and almost had another pick.

I was skeptical. Usually ball skills and awareness at the top of the route isn't something you develop over time, but if he does then he could be a really good player for us.

Campbell has improved a lot. On one hand this is exactly what you want from rookies but on the other hand he was quite bad initially. Hope he continues to improve. Then I'm starting to feel ok about our secondary.

yes he almost had a second pick when he turned his head right in stride for that deep ball in the end zone. He has really come on strong. I would never have dreamed I would be saying this, but I agree he is the most impressive player of our rookie class so far. He has the physical tools to be elite, with his size and speed. We have started to see the results of his hard work all year it appears.

I'm going to go out I a limb and say one could argue he's been our best player over the last 3 weeks. A few weeks ago when he had his best game, Griffin was out and he was our number 1 corner. Yesterday he allowed 7 yards on 7 targets, a pick, and a couple pass breakups. Even early in the season when he looked bad, he never really got beat. He was always right there on his guy he just didn't get his head around to locate the ball
