Trevor needs so much help the first 4 picks need to be the best offensive players available at those spots. I hate the idea of drafting for need over BAP but things are That bad on offense. AND I don't think Neal is an elite level LT (unless he play two playoff games and wipes the floor with the passrushers at Cincy and Michigan) So WR with 1st pick We show less advertisements to registered users. We have to take BAP and the only 2 truly elite players in this draft are Hutchinson and Thibodeaux. The only way I'm trading down is for Jameson Williams and I'm gonna want a lot in return for missing out on one of the two best players in the draft. Like a "king's ransom." We wouldn't be in this situation if Khan would've been smart and hired real NFL people to run this franchise in the first place. Instead, he got a popular college coach with no idea how the NFL works or how to treat grown men and a "yes man" GM who ran a good 49'ers team into the ground with his boneheaded moves. A lot of people on this board saw it coming when they were hired and now the fans are paying for it.Fair enough. Trade down for more picks if possible. What spot is the lowest you think we can trade down to and still get Jameson Williams. And how much king's ransom will it take? If we want Williams, I wouldn't trade down passed #6 overall and I would want a first rounder, a second rounder and a first rounder in 2023 in return or 2 first round picks in 2022 and a 2nd rounder in 2023. If that holds and we only go to number 2 I don't think they will give you that trade. If we go to #1? Maybe
Teams aren't going to give up that much to move up in a QB class this bad. If we're 1 or 2 it's easy we take whichever pass rusher is left. If we pick 3rd I am taking Jameson.

Not saying he'd be gone if they lose to Houston, but winning this game on Sunday almost guarantees Meyer's return. That's why I'll be pulling for Houston on Sunday. The long-term future of this team is much more important than a meaningless win against a terrible Texans' team.

I have an issue with this concept. I understand, fans are gonna fan. But please don't go down the road of wanting the team to tank. I have zero respect for any players OR coaches who tank. That is to say, intentionally lose. The mindset of every player and coach must be to win. Always. Anything short of that attitude is not worthy of respect. Those people are paid to do that. There is also the pride and self respect aspect as well. Having said all that, I think the game is a tossup at best.

If winning one meaningless game means more of the current regime and languishing in this current state for even longer, I'll be rooting for the Texans on Sunday. I can't take this. This is the lowest I've felt about being a fan of this team.......................ever and I have been a fan since the inaugural season. People are frustrated and things keep going from bad to worse. Something has to be done. (12-14-2021, 11:52 AM)DTWD4∞ Wrote: I have an issue with this concept. I understand, fans are gonna fan. But please don't go down the road of wanting the team to tank. Having said all that, I think the game is a tossup at best. We go round and round about this every year. How crazy is it that we are so bad that we talk about tanking every year...sheesh. The players and coaches are not tanking. Their jobs and ability to feed their families are on the line, they are trying as hard as they can. The fans absolutely have the right to hope for a tank. If a loss to the Texans means we get rid of Urban and also lock ourselves in to one of the big two pass rushers then it would 100% be better for the franchise if we lose. To clarify my statement, I want the Jaguars to lose this week due to the reasons stated. However, I DO NOT expect the players to try to lose. These guys have way too much to lose by not playing hard. In addition, most have too much self-respect and competitive natures to do this. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! I have no expectation of us running away from ANYONE, but this year especially has shown us that the unthinkable can happen with either of these teams. Like I said, fans gonna fan and many here want to see our team lose for multiple reasons. I am not one of them. I want our team to win every single time they take the field. It's just my particular mindset. From a technical standpoint? it might be beneficial for them to lose out but we have all seen that the draft, for all the legwork the nfl staffs do, it is still a roll of the dice. That is why I harp constantly about the scouting department. Been a long time supporter of replacing that entire department. The othe item that seriously needs addressing is the offensive coaches. Specifically O-line and receivers. Probably Bevell too if he is running his own offense. If he is running Urbz offense, well there ya go. As To Urbz himself, I think he gets another year at least. Baalke just needs to go and go soon.
Per Josina Anderson, the Lions are currently leaning Thibodeaux with their pick. I’d be happy with this because I currently prefer Hutchinson to Thibodeaux.
