Hire Kellen Moore to be the HC and pair him with a veteran DC. Tell him to bring Will McClay with him to be the GM.

Someone else mentioned it but if the Broncos fire Fangio, Moore and Fangio as DC would be really good.

Yeah, unfortunately, Fangio will probably have a lot of other options, since he is one of the most highly-respected defensive coordinators in the league.  It's not like we just go to the store and pick up a Fangio.

Think it’s be really cool to get Jim Caldwell in an EVP role here. Then hire Kellen Moore to be the HC. Moore played under Caldwell in Detroit so the relationship is there. I’d really want to go the vet DC route like LA did with Wade Phillips for McVay. Zimmer, Fangio, or Marvin Lewis could all be options. Caldwell and Lewis are close so he could probably talk him into coming to run the defense.

My preference is for Pederson.  He's actually played QB for two great offensive minds (Holmgren and Reid), he's coached under Reid, he's been a head coach that has won a Super Bowl as a head guy-the only guy on our list of candidates who can make this claim.

That said, if we went with Kellen Moore, Fangio would be a superb choice for DC.

You would think so. As I said in another thread, perhaps Khan is simply using Baalke as administrative support to set up and conduct these HC interviews. Is there anyone else in the building with the experience to do so? I honestly don't know.

Any coach that would want to avoid this job because they lost belief in Trevor based on what's gone on this season wouldn't be someone worth having as a head coach, anyway.
