I have been on record as probably being the most pro Eberflus guy here, but I hated the idea of him because he was the only guy left that would work with Baalke. Very thankful it didn't go down like that.

It appears that we have dodged all of the bullets, but I am not putting it past Shad to pull a lead pipe out of his jacket and beat us over the head with it with some unforeseen scenario.

Like maybe Dan Snyder is a worse owner because he is also just a very bad human being. But as far as football related aspects go, Shad is head and shoulders the worst in the league...and Shad's last two major hires have both been bad human beings so maybe that doesn't even give Shad the moral leg up on Snyder.

Shad got himself into this mess by not firing Baalke at any of the obvious multiple times since Urban was fired. We’re now in a situation where our number one HC target might not be hired because he doesn’t want to work with Baalke. (A situation EVERYONE saw coming.)

What leverage does Baalke have on Khan for this situation to even have got to this point. It’s not like he’s a hugely successful, league admired GM. Everyone hates him
