Tony is a way better "sports" guy than his dad. I never thought anyone could break up the monopoly WWE had on the wrestling business, but Tony started up a fledgling company and did just that. Now, AEW is supposedly beating WWE in some of the ratings and even attracting some of their top talent. I don't know where he gets it from, certainly not his father. If it were just up to Shad, we'd probably have to endure Trent Baalke for another 10 years.

He has a rare blend of smarts, energy, extroversion, and work ethic. Very rare, especially in a billionaires kid. And he really seems to love the city. We need to be rooting for him to take over ASAP.

He really needs to stay out of the Twitter drama though, whether it's AEW, Fulham or the Jags he seems to get in dumb spats and bad statements a bit too often.  Still no denying the successes he's had with AEW and the little amount he's been allowed to do with the Jags.  The team is in good hands if he stays involved to a healthy extent.

I think it is mostly because Baalke is gone and you know everything he has done here and with the 49ers.

Both Byron and Adrian have potential and it is almost impossible they are a downgrade from Urban-Baalke. It would even be hard for Byron to be worst than Bradley and Adrian worse than Caldwell. We'll see.

Yeah, he's pulling out all the tricks to try to keep his job, but I think Tony and Shad have finally sniffed out what a joke he is.

Yeah, I think Tony is actually closer to the fan base, so he gets a lot of grief over what the team is doing.  Having a finger on the pulse certainly helps, and I think he took those concerns to dear old dad.  Ultimately, it's Shad's decision, but I suspect he tends to trust his son.
