Pot, meet kettle. Hypocrisy almost always loses in the long run.

Remember when CNN used to report on weather events as well as US and Global news that people actually cared about --- maybe that was in the 80's or so? CNN used to make people smarter and globally educated. Now they just make everyone dumber (as do the other 2 main stream networks - FOX and MSNBC). I know it's a pipedream but I sure wish CNN would get back to actual news reporting.
80's CNN? I mostly remember Toria Tolley....

The problem is:
-Opinion is considered fact these days so "just the facts ma'am" is no longer relevant. -The news media only reports the parts of the actual facts that fit their agenda. If nothing fits they simply don't report it. -They stir the pot to get people riled up. They also stir it to make something out of nothing. -They outright lie. Rittenhouse and Sandman are two perfect examples. These are just off the top of my head and covers all media sources from all sides. We show less advertisements to registered users. Christiane Amanpour is someone else I remember early in the OIF campaign. She was the first "real" female journalist I remember. Real as opposed to Katie Couric and all the "puff piece" ladies. |
