Good re-sign. Serviceable player at Center/Guard and isn't expensive.

Solid back-up on a fair deal - I dig it

I'm thinking he's our starting center once the season starts.

This or competing with a rook/free agent.

Might be all for Linder, but ya know if we cut him he will stay healthy all season.

I'm surprised they were able to sign him for that little. He's a decent NFL offensive lineman.

Now we can keep Linder, because we have his usual backup in place. Really, Shatley should get some of Linder's money, because it seems like he fills in for Linder about half the time, and does a pretty good job.

You can't put a price tag on not having to pack up and move everything. Well, for our meager-incomed selves you might, but when staying put nets you nine figures, the stability off the field is probably well worth remaining in place.

That’s one way to look at it.

It could also mean Linder is expendable if he doesn’t take a pay cut.

...a good signing. He's an experienced versatile game day active for the interior OL.

Definitely need to lock up the players that have contributed to the Jags success over the past decade.
