How did NFL Network get it so wrong? I know the unofficial times are usually faster than the official times, but I've been watching the Combine for decades and this is the biggest disparity in times that I have ever seen. Olave elected not to run a second time, because he believed he had one of the fastest times in NFL history and instead he finds out that he is .13 of a second slower than he was originally told. That's HUGE. I bet he would've run a 2nd time had he known his time was a 4.39.

I'd take either top receiver from Ohio State.

Me too. I really wanna see what Drake London of USC runs as well. He was ultra productive before his injury. He has excellent hands and route running ability. I've loved Jameson Williams all year, but the problem with him is his injury status. If you take him, we must get another premier receiver as well, in case it takes Williams a while to get back on track. Jahan Dotson is another player I like as well, but I believe all of these guys are first round picks. I'm hoping I'm wrong and one slides to pick #33.

It’s looking better and better. Along with the oline stock looking deep, going bap in Dline and still getting needs at WR, TE, and Oline may be a reality. We maybe able to have our cake and eat it too.

I don't see a repeat of last year.

Pederson has repeatedly talked about the need for a pass catching TE.

He's placed more of an emphasis on the position than any other Jaguars coach, including TC.

He was Favre's backup in Green Bay, where they had Mark Chmura and Keith Jackson. 

He played and coached under Andy Reid, who had Chad Lewis, L.J. Smith, and Brent Celek in Philly, and Anthony fasano, and Travis Kelce in KC.

When Pederson returned to Philly as Head Coach, he had Celek, Zack Ertz and Dallas Goedert at TE.

While I expect some names to be taken off the free agent list, there will be some potentially attractive free agents at TE, to say nothing of the depth at the position in this draft.

I fully expect this team to make a legitimate effort at getting a TE or two this offseason.

It's a mixture of several things. Yes, I would tag Cam Robinson, but I would also go very hard after Joseph Noteboom in free agency. He's one of my top free agent targets. Between those three guys we should be able to find a LT, RT and swing Tackle for 2022. I just cut Taylor outright. He as useless as teats on a boar hog. I also don't see any OT's in this draft that I would spend a 2nd or 3rd round selection on. Trevor Penning is my top rated OT and he'll be long gone by pick #33. My next favorite OT is Cordell Volson of North Dakota State, but for some reason I'm seeing most mocks projecting him later in the draft. He'd be the guy I would target as a project OT to either take over a starting role in 2023 or become the swing Tackle.

The bolded is exactly right. I like the order you have, that tends to be about where value fits when I run a mock, but inevitably there's either a run on a position or a guy that slips that forces you to rethink the whole approach.

That's what I love about the darft - you could plan and plan and plan, and in the end your best plan could go out the window when one team overvalues just one guy differently.

it's gotta be that or relying on FA to find some depth. I don't wanna be one injury away from putting Taylor back into the starting lineup.

He was *REALLY* unathletic at the combine. 4.93 SS is untenable with being an NFL OT, probably not an NFL anything. And the 3 cone was even worse.

Again, I don't care about measurables. I watched this kid play and he was the best pulling OT I've seen in years. He allowed 0 sacks and committed just 1 penalty all season and allowed just 1 sack his entire college career. He was a first team FCS All-American in 2021. He also did very well in the bench press at the Combine, which shows his strength. Technique wise, this kid is extremely impressive. That can make up for being un-athletic. Gimme a player who is technically sound over an athletic guy any day. Just look how un-athletic Tom Brady was and he turned into the best QB of all time. His Combine numbers were laughable.

I don't think I should have to mention the giant chasm of difference it requires athletically to be a good QB vs being a good OT.
