Wow! How are they gonna build a competent team around that kind of restrictive contract? We need to make an offer for David Bakhtiari. I don't see how they can afford him and re-sign Davante Adams to a long term deal. lol. I know they needed to keep Rodgers, but good Lord! $200 million?

You know they just tagged him to buy time so they can re-sign him long term. Now that he knows Rodgers is coming back, he'll probably get a deal done fairly soon. With that said, I expect a fire sale on a lot of their other players simply to stay under the cap not only now, but in future years. Rodgers and Adams contracts alone will probably take up around 35% of their cap, if not more.

I'm glad he didn't end up in Tennessee or Indy.

Same here. Would have been 4 more years of at best 2nd in Division, and we would have lost Trevor's rookie contract window.

I didn't see that type of contract coming.
