Forget Trump for a second. The question is really whether or not our lives are made better by democrats. The answer is no. Not in any way. They, along with many Republicans, are the establishment class. They don't care about the people. We have to start voting against the establishment and get back to people run government.

Trump was trying to become a dictator.  He was trying to persecute and prosecute his opponents and when that didn't work he called for violence to get his way.  All of these things would make the government more accountable to him and his personality and less accountable to the voters.  So the question I asked in 2020 was, regardless of which tax and spending policy I prefer, regardless of which immigration policy I prefer, regardless of any of my preferences, which candidate is more likely to preserve my ability to vote and influence government in 2021, 2022, and beyond?
