What's up with DJ Chark?

1. Tre McBride
2. Jelani Woods
3. Isaiah Likely
4. Jake Ferguson
5. Greg Dulcich
6. Derrick Deese
7. Charlie Kolar
8. Cole Turner
9. Grant Calcaterra
10. Lucas Krull
11. Jalen Wydermeyer
12. Gerrit Prince
13. Austin Allen
14. Cade Otton
15. Chigoziem Okonkwo

If we get one of the guys from the top 7 on this board, I'd be stoked!

When did you move Woods ahead of Likely?  Yesterday, after Likely didn't run?

No, it was actually after I watched the Shrine Bowl. I knew Woods was a very good blocker, but he made some really impressive catches in that game and was very hard for defenders to bring down. The difference between him and Likely is blocking. Woods is the total package, whereas Likely is more a receiving threat only. Don't get me wrong though, I would be ecstatic to draft either guy.

He's coming off an injury and is yet to use all the talent he has. He hasn't shown HOF numbers yet in any season and he is on the wrong side of the gas tank left to be able to have a long career of good numbers to get in.

Could he be a top 10 WR, yes but it's not a lock he will be.

Chark about to have himself a HOF career.

HOF? LOL. How about just get thru a season without injury and put up decent numbers for a year. Here's hoping I eat these words, but he is not going to the HOF unless the trajectory of his career drastically changes.

Yeah.  You should probably have #becausejaguars for the humor impaired.

I hope so. He has so much untapped potential. He just needs to stay healthy.

I echo these sentiments, especially with the way guys are being tagged.

I think  if he can just stay healthy, he could thrive in Pederson's offense, especially if we can add a TE or two to command coverage underneath and occupy the occasional safety.

Definitely keep him.

Honestly he is the one player I would not let go in this FA class.

I like Cam, but I worry about him keeping a level head on the field. I feel like he has had to be restrained by teammates multiple times. Including one instance that would have cost us a win if he had been flagged.

Chark has a very high ceiling and a pretty solid floor. He has been a great teammate. Resigning him to a good contract would go a long way toward rehabbing our image. Show you can retain good players.

Doesn't sound like anyone is optimistic we keep Chark now.

Hope he can be like another receiver who had injury issues an was out of the league for a year before coming back and having a borderline HOF career: Jimmy Smith.

I like Chark, and I like what he brings to the team/ability to stretch the field. But, the best ability is AVAILABILITY.

Lets get this done.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

I wish we had used the transition tag on DJ. At least we would be able to make a play to keep him.
