Sure he had the Indy game and Sure he had some Wow moments throughout the season. The entire body of work on the other hand was bad for a 1st overall pick. Lawrence suffered from very inconsistent accuracy most of the year combined with his lack of touch on the ball. It wasn't until the Colts game that I actually seen him lob a pass to a rb instead of 500mph bullets. I was kinda on the fence about his future but brighter days maybe ahead. You have quite the imagination. (03-11-2022, 01:35 AM)jaguarmvp Wrote: I caught a ton of flack on this board last year for calling out Lawrence's bad play. How the [BLEEP] could you watch THAT video and somehow think that Pederson is saying they want to "rebuild Trevor from the ground up?" Seriously? He was very obviously talking about ignoring last years results because of the coaching ineptitude and putting Trevor into a new scheme and proper game planning that will allow a "rookie" to succeed. He didn't get any semblance of that last season until interim coaching took over. He's bought in like mad on Trevor. He doesn't want to fix him, he wants to enable him to do what he knows he can do very well. Watch it again and remove the stupid lens of your failed narrative on Trevor. Maybe you'll see that Doug P actually believes in the kid and shares NONE of your bull [BLEEP] negative narrative on his ability. You caught flack for being a [BLEEP] idiot, and this thread is simply more of the same so far. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

In fact, I'm pretty sure now that Bevell is the one who provided the most resistance to Meyer when he started turning into a HEAD case Yes Captain Obvious. The topic is Trevor's development. I fully believe that Meyer wanted Trevor to run a RPO type of offense he was familiar with at Clemson. Problem with that is it increases the risk for injury. I think this is where Bev rebelled and it created the friction between Meyer and the coaching staff that never went away.

He had Trevor looking like an NFL QB in the games he playcalled. I'm not as excited about this Taylor brother nepotism hire.

This is the definition of hypocrisy. He complains about people who throw insults while writing a message full of insults. Let's look at it: Sentence #1: Says that he has hamsters smarter than you. Sentence #2: Calls you a douche bag. Sentence #3: Accuses you of having "little man syndrome" and "down syndrome". Sentence #4: Demeans the opinion of "most of the board" as being blind faith. Sentence #5: Calls you an idiot. Sentence #6: Calls you an idiot again. Sentence #7: Brags about his ignore list. Sentence #8: We then get the classic of complaining that "idiots hurl insults". LOL!!!!
