I like our defense as whole going into next season, we will surprise some teams with the squad we are building. If Hutch is as advertised, I could see a top 10-12 defense if they hit their potential.

That would be crazy. 

i mean... i think our offense is gonna be a lot more potent with Kirk, Engram, A solid OL to protect TLaw, Etienne (who didn't factor in last year) and Carlos Hyde reduction of carries. Anyone else is just support... but those players alone would threaten a defense i think.

I watched jones highlights. I like what I saw. He will have to get a little more targets to really see what his potential is. He seemed to always make people miss and grab extra yards which I didnt see the jags wrs do much last year. Our wrs just went down easily tracked

The whole compensatory pick thing should be eliminated. It's too opaque and inconsistent in implementation, and every team has the same opportunity to participate in free agency. Rewarding teams for drafting well enough to not be able to keep all of their players is dumb, they've already been rewarded by being great teams with a lot of talent. Parity is diminished by rewarding teams that already have the advantage.

Reading up on him, it doesn't seem like he plays the slot that much. Does this mean Griffin moves to nickel? Certainly not Campbell.

I am absolutely fine with overpaying for EVERYONE this year in free agency. 
Cap is inflated league wide and we have more space than most. 
And they are giving themselves cap relief 2 or 3 years in on most of these contracts. 
I'm fine with all of it so far. 

And I really like the D Williams add too.
