With so much focus on the new guys, who's your breakout star of the current roster?

Assuming we draft Hutchinson, I also believe Josh Allen will have double digit sacks in 2022. I also think Foye Oluokun is gonna have a big year at ILB, but since we aren't counting free agents, I'm guessing Hutchinson, unless we draft someone other than Hutchinson #1. Then all bets are off.

I really hope you're one of the people who railed me for my take on Trevor in college, because while watching Clemson football to scout Lawrence pre-draft all I saw was absolute brilliance from ETN. No clue how the injury will affect him, but he would have most definitely been a big time player without it. It's easy playing both sides huh? "ahh if ETN is good, I knew/seen it all along... If he isn't any good, it definitely was only because of his injury". Win-Win baby this [BLEEP] is easy. Can't ever be wrong when you already got an excuse to back up every take you make.

My point was that, if the guy who was saying ETN wouldn't be good with or without the injury must have not watched much of Clemsons play when Trevor was there because ETN was one of those guys that you just notice his ability when watching him play. I think ETN is an amazing player the only thing I'm worried about is how the injury affects him. What exactly are you trying to say? lol. This isn't the same thing as me claiming Trevor was underwelming in college compared to the hype he got. This is me simply saying that I have very little doubt that ETN would transition to the pros and be a good player. His injury dosen't change my opinion of him. I was one of the people on the board during the draft who didn't get mad when we took him. The injury was unfortunate i'm extremely hopeful that he will still be himself post-injury since he's so young. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
With the TE spotlight on acquired free agent Evan Engram, I think Dan Arnold is going to be the one to shine this year.

Kind of sad that nobody listed Chaisson. What a terrible pick --- so far we got nothing in exchange for Jalen Ramsey !!!
I just want to point out that everyone is saying Campbell, Little, Etienne, and Cisco. These are all guys that we drafted in one year. Maybe Baalke actually knows what he is doing in the draft? It gives me hope. I also understand that most of our talented players leave after their rookie deal is finished but still. Also, an underrated name may be Shaq Quarterman, it is a flyer but he will definitely be getting a lot of PT since our LB group is so thin. He didn’t seem terrible when he was subbed in I saw potential, what do y’all think?

He didn’t seem terrible when he was subbed in I saw potential, what do y’all think? This is very true. It also demonstrates that none of them had breakout rookie seasons, although Campbell was the only player to see any playing time of significance. Let's face it, when you have generational talent like Andrew Wingard in the secondary, I'd be surprised if Cisco ever sees the field here in Jacksonville. Barry Sanders was 5'8" - 203 lbs I don't think Etienne is Sanders by any stretch - but Pederson definitely had a package of plays in Philly for the scat-back-type player. I'm sure he can utilize ETN's skillset in his Jags playbook effectively - and his 5'10" - 215 lb stature won't diminish that at all. |
