The Worst Possible Draft Outcome
|
Thought i would flip the script and see what everyone thinks what the worst possible draft outcome for the Jags could be .
Baalke works in mysterious ways so anything mentioned could be plausible lol We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Walker and Hutch at 1 is fine (prefer Hutch).
Worst case for me (and logically something that could happen) would be taking a RB or TE at 33.

I'm going to be a little upset if the jags dont use few of their picks to trade up and steal one of those wrs.
Jags pick walks on to the stage and the floating platform thing they are using collapses, the Jags pick sees Goodell trapped under the water, dives to save him and lifts something off of him, drags him to land, and gives him cpr to save him.
In the process he tears an acl and bicep or shoulder. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
1. Travon Walker, DE, Georgia
33. George Pickens, WR, Georgia 65. Dylan Parham, OG/C, Memphis 70. Jeremy Ruckert, TE, Ohio State 106. Rasheed Walker, OT, Penn State 157. Jack Sanborn, ILB, Wisconsin 180. Thayer Munford, OG/OT, Ohio State 188. Bo Melton, WR, Rutgers 198. Quinton Lake, S, UCLA 199. Dameon Pierce, RB, Florida 223. Jermaine Waller, CB, Virginia Tech 236. Tyreke Smith, DE/OLB, Ohio State I can't imagine a more vomit inducing draft. Lol so our pick is a hero, thats not so bad, injury aside. Jags fail to get the pick in on time. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Honestly, this year doesn't feel like there is a worst possible or a best possible scenario. There is no Fowler or Fournette who it was just obvious to me would be a horrible pick. On the flip side, there is no Ramsey or Trevor scenario that screams home run either. I can say the same about what is roughly projected to be around for our 33 pick and maybe even 65/70 picks too.
I will be disappointed if we take OL at 1 or Kenyon Green specifically at 33, but it's not going to make me want to vomit like many of our previous highly valuable picks have.
I seriously think jags need to come away with a really good fast wr out of this draft. After watching what happend with last years wrs, my biggest fear is something similar to last year. Drops.. injuries.. no speed no hands. No chance .. punt

Yes, ideally they would be fast, but I teally wanna see good hands, consistency and solid route running. I can deal with a player who isn't as fast, as long as they create separation in other ways and can consistently catch the ball. Last season no one could get separation and they couldn't catch either. For the most part, those same receivers are still on the team. The new guy is gonna have to really step up. So the difference so far is kirk, ingram, and zay jones. Arnold was good but got hurt. Marvin jones will be a good compliment in a good crew. I still think we need to add 1 or 2 more in the mix. Viska is a wildcard. Which one will show up? Etienne and Agnew could be really exciting if they can stay healthy. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Worst draft outcome is always that foamy belch that indicates the keg is dry.
For the Jags, it would be taking a QB with the first pick. At least the rest of the guys would feasibly be able to compete for some field time.
This is such a broad question. I can think of horrible things this team has already done and then it's not hard to make it one step worse.
Here's a pretty easy one. The Jags take one of the Tackles at #1. Then they resign Cam to a Fiver. Then the #1 pick can't beat out either Cam or Little for a Tackle spot and we spent a #1 for a Guard. Then it gets worse for us here because Olinematters gets to brag about it for a decade. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

I refuse to believe even Baalke would be that stupid. We need an outside linebacker with pass rushing skills, not a run stuffing 3-4 DE. I know I have lit into Baalke a lot, but surely he can't be that ignorant.

They will take Ekwonu and you will like it. Little will be traded for a 5th to Rams where he will go on to have a HoF career. Don't forget, it's been my opinion for quite a while now that they may take O-line at 1 and the reasoning is that they're not as high on Little as people on this board. |
