If Walker is the pick I'll say this: Watching the little film they have of Hutch and him, something stands out. Hutch isn't big or very strong. I saw him collide with a QB and both went down. Hutch looks thin.

I saw Walker, and that's a big, strong guy. He was moving OL with sheer size. Just waving his arms. He's a risk, but all the Jags seem to want him. And I assume they know football.

Our history of early picks prior to 2021 is of little to no importance right now. 
Trevor Lawrence, Etienne, Tyson Campbell, Andre Cisco, and Walker Little are our best indicators of the current regime's early-round drafting and even that is not a wise barometer to gather data from - as it happened with input from a different HC.

That doesn't make sense to me. Based on that they would always be reacting, yet the business for bookies is always profitable. They have to be predicting things to some extent.

Why do you think the bookie business is always profitable?  They are always changing the odds to split the bets, so they cannot lose.  Too much money comes in on one side, so they change the odds to attract money to the other side.  They're not predicting the future.   They're just ensuring they get their cut and whichever side wins, they don't take a bath, because they have split the bets.  Why do you think the odds move when big money comes in on one side?  They have to restore the balance.  

Really if you want to say they are predicting something, what they are predicting is how people are going to bet.  They're not trying to predict what's actually going to happen, other than that.

That's why it's totally bogus to say the oddsmakers in Vegas think Walker will be our pick.  The bettors are saying Walker will be our pick.  Not the oddsmakers.

I have taken a position, that might sound extreme, that I would trade down as far as 10 for a late 2nd round pick or better.  That's all it would take for me, because I have no faith that the guys being talked about at 1 are much better than the guys being talked about down around 10.  Seriously, would you take one of those top 4 guys, or would you take Jameson Williams plus a 2nd round pick?  I'd take Williams and the pick.  That's just an example.

I am honestly in the same exact position at this point. I'll take Jameson Williams and a 2nd RD pick at this point and not even think twice about it. 

I hope the Giants or Eagles feel compelled to come up though.

I wish ^this were true, but I just don't see anyone so desirable for someone to trade up to 1.  I guess you are right that it is the best case.
