He was up against one of the Raiders' starting tackles.

Even more impressive.  I think he shown more promise in his limited time that Chassion has shown his entire career here.

Minshew wanted to start, he was getting shipped regardless. I think he may get a shot this year, I don't see the Hurts project going well this year, he's a bottom tier starter imo.

It will be interesting. They changed their running scheme halfway thru last season to maximize Hurts and their offense massively improved.

After an offseason, you would think other teams would recognize how to neutralize that scheme and try to force him to throw more, especially between the hashes.

If Eagles can counter will determine their season, and how they try to figure out their progressions for Brown, Smith, and their TE.

In Chaison's defense, he has been miscast for 2 seasons in defenses that didn't fit what he was projected to do well.

On top of that he was always project and has had to learn 3 defenses in 3 season.

As this point, there is no reason to keep him on and hope it all comes together.

Stupid announcers. How is that a helmet to helmet foul? The defender didn't initiate anything. the WR fell into him because he was tripped and had no control.

Stidham slicing us up. Luton stinking us up. Tell me why we have him here again?

Meh, every backup wants to start.  He got a shot last year and destroyed the Jets

Someone has to be a camp arm.

If Trevor goes down for an extended period the team will suffer either way.

The problem Chaisson has is he was drafted in the 1st round. There's a certain level of expectation and he's come nowhere near it sadly. Then look at someone like Ngakoue as  3rd rounder and he was way above that level.

I agree with you that we haven't done a lot to help him in terms of system and where we've lined him up but for me, the 1st round pick label is what causes a lot of the criticism.

Cole shouldn't even be out there. He is easily there 3rd best WR

To be fair, that confidence and desire to want to prove themselves is what gets these guys into the NFL in the first place. Never settling. It is hard to turn that instinct off.

Run defense looks kinda soft to me. Hopefully Fotukasi and Oluwakan are difference the difference makers that we signed them to be. Arden key is whipping folks out there and may turn out to provide some valuable depth.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Aside from a few pass rushes and maybe Cisco making some saving tackles this has not looked good.

His problem seems to me to be that he's not a guy that loves playing football.

He's a guy that will give the minimum effort to keep his paycheck coming. Drafting someone like him in the first round was a huge mistake, he was already set from his first contract and therefore done with real effort.
