The FBI just raided Mar-A-Lago
|
Is This the Backstabber Behind the Mar-a-Lago Raid?
We are at a point in history where the Deep State can blatantly raid the home of the next likely Republican presidential nominee and possibly get away with it. How in the hell did we get here? For one, ‘nad-free GOPers don’t raise hell when all hell needs to be raised. https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/ke...6fti_vipjI ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. He wants documents for his library. He doesn't want the next administration to bury some documents. So you are saying he would declassify top secret documents in order to put them in his library? Or that he doesn't want the next administration to bury a document that is already classified top secret? Is that the best you can do? Surely someone can come up with a more plausible reason as to why a President would declassify top secret documents and take them home with him when he leaves office. I'm just asking for a hypothetical situation. No one has to admit that Trump did it. Just give me a plausible reason why any President would want to do that.
Here's a plausible reason: He's a self-interested blowhard. He had some peons pack up his stuff when he left the Whitehouse, and they took the wrong things. Maybe he wanted to keep docs connected to investigations or conversations he had with world leaders. Then when told by the FBI to give it back, he told other peons to give them what they needed. Then when the FBI didn't get everything back, they used it as a pretense to go and get anything they could that could be used against Trump in the future.
Now I played your game, you play mine. Can you give me a reason why the FBI might scrutinize Trump more heavily than other previous Presidents? Is it possible there might be a bias that changes the way they handle this information?

A reason why the FBI might scrutinize Trump more heavily? Assuming your premise is true, then the reason might be Trump's own behavior. It's possible that his constant verbal attacks on the FBI have caused some bad blood, and it's possible the FBI is paying him back for that. On the other hand, it's possible he's violating the laws that the FBI is sworn to uphold. And that's why they're investigating him for certain things, as they should. Taking top secret documents out of the White House and, declassified or not, keeping them at his private home, is a very serious matter and it needs to be cleared up. Declassified or not, they are still the property of the US government, and he is not allowed to hang onto them, and after 20 months of talking, and dribbling stuff back to the government, I guess the government just got tired of talking, and went in and took them. I can't say I blame them. Whatever happened, he brought it on himself. There's no plausible reason I have seen so far as to why he would declassify top secret documents and keep them at his house. Other than pure arrogance. And there's no evidence that he ever did declassify them. When documents are declassified, they are marked "declassified." They had no markings to indicate that they were declassified. They were all still marked classified.

Look, dude... how much do you actually know about what Presidents take or don't take from the Whitehouse? How much do you actually know about their interactions with the National Archives after the fact? Or the FBI playing a role as a go between? You don't know any of that. There is a legitimate debate going on right now between actual scholars about how documents are declassified by the President, so the experts don't "know." Why do you confidently assert such things? You don't KNOW [BLEEP].
Admittedly, I don't know if Trump illegally held documents or not. I would NEVER blindly support Trump, as I think he narcissistic and pigheaded and generally unaware of US procedures. He might have stuff he shouldn't have. I don't know. HOWEVER, I do know that the FBI has abused its power more than once in trying to bring down Trump. Federal Judge Rosemary Collyer wrote this about the FBI "The FBI’s handling of the Carter Page applications, as portrayed in the [Office of the inspector general] report, was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor described above. The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable,” The FBI lawyer that filed the document for the FISA courts falsified information and plead guilty. The FBI pushed the Russian Hoax narrative, knowing the pretense for it was false. Peter Strok and his mistress, both FBI agents, admitted to trying to stop Trump from winning in 2016 via texts. They were involved in pushing the Russia Hoax, even though they knew before getting warrants that Steele's information was false. The FBI used that data to obtain warrants to search people connected to the Trump campaign. We know that the FBI contact social media corporations to tell them to censor Hunter Biden laptop information, even though they had the laptop and examined the evidence and knew it was true. Why? If you're not stupid, you should realize they are following a similar pattern... to keep Trump from winning. How many abuses need to occur before it starts to show up on your radar, man? The possibility that this is just another attempt to frame and discredit Trump should be very much a plausibility to you. You are so fixated on perceived abuses by Trump that you completely ignore the actual exploitation and degradation of our institutions designed to protect us. Stop chasing a boogeyman and focus on the real danger. These are just the offenses related to Trump. I could easily make a list much longer of their recent abuses that have shown to attack anything that represents a threat to the establishment, from J6 to the persecution of Project Veritas. Looks like the rumors of an FBI agent getting walked out the building are true. He was the one who started the investigation and also heavily involved in Russia gate.

Even if there are irregularities in the Hunter Biden investigation, that doesn't necessarily mean anything about the Trump investigation.

What do you think would make the FBI remove someone that is heavily connected to democrats? Seems like they picked their fall guy for the raid. Will be interesting if the affidavit is unsealed. The Next Chapter of the FBI's Trump Raid Saga Just Dropped
Of course this development would drop late at night. The Biden Department of Justice has declared that Donald Trump’s ‘special master’ request to review the documents the FBI seized in their August 8 raid of Mar-a-Lago should be denied on national security grounds. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/...mu_hJQEVlk ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. While there is no doubt there are some in leadership positions in the FBI and DOJ who operate on political bias, acting on that bias to the point of having field agents plant evidence is ludicrous. 99% of the people in these agencies do not allow their personal beliefs to interfere with their duties. Additionally, perpetrating such a high level act of subterfuge would be akin to keeping the moon landing hoax story a secret. There are simply too many people involved to pull it off.
