What would make more sense would be for people to lay out their parameters for a good performance or a bad performance now instead after the game.

Yeah if the defense takes over and they make Trevor play conservative, I wouldn't cry. There are a bunch of positives that can come out.  I just don't want to see a train wreck that shows we don't have talent and the supporting cast is going nowhere.

Depends who's there. If we're picking top 5 (again) and TLaw has a really poor season it would be tempting if there's someone you really love there. Otherwise no IMO.

I don’t think you can categorize a team that 1 an OT botch away from the playoffs a “bad team”.

It’s also tough compare Trevor straight up to Herbert the last 2 years because the offensive talent around him is so much better. I wish Trevor had Williams, Allen and Eckler.

The chargers went 5-11 in 2019.

Herbert  didn't join a good team.

That team was a lot better than you think. In those losses they had two come down to a last minute field goal and two others come down to bad special teams.

Its not like they lacked players on offense and defense.

Are you serious? Bortles threw more wounded ducks that would have made Elmer Fudd blush and passes that floundered more than anything.

People loved him because he was tough, could run and was a frat boy's boy. That's all it came down to.

Lawrence had [BLEEP] for time in the pocket today. He doesn't need to be dropping back forty or more times per game. The play calling was imbalanced.

And... if Etienne catches that [BLEEP] TD pass on 4th and goal in the 1st half? You're all singing a different tune or not even chirping at all.
