I swear this fanbase is full of doomers. Lawrence didn't play amazing, but ffs we can at least give him the rest of the year before jumping on "LET'S DRAFT A QB". Evan Engram played well. Tight end play wasn't the reason they lost. The defense has a lot of talent, but wasn't clicking early. And neither was Lawrence, who's a streaky passer.

Just need to call less long developing plays or continue coaching Trevor to make his reads quicker. Not sure who to blame there, but it felt like a lot of plays were down the field pass plays. Calling more run plays which were working well all game and calling more quick slants or screens might do well to help a young QB out. I hope they start Lanen at LG next week.

I think it has to be on the table at this point, Bartch really struggled today. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
The WR's were the one group that didn't dissapoint today. If you had told me that at the end of last year I would've laughed.
I think we need to get James Robinson & Etienne on the field at the same time more often. We need to find a way to help the interior oline because Deforest Buckner might feast next week.

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence! 2) Play good physical Defense! 3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy! 4) ??? 5) Blank #2 6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
It is beyond embarrassing how Trevor and the defense combined to give that game away.
I am already giving that guard from Green Bay they traded for first team reps in practice this week. Bartch can rotate.

I remember one play in the Atlanta game where he blocked 2 guys at once. I honestly think that's the real reason they traded for him if Bartch struggles. I'd give him a shot and see how he does. We got meaningful football snaps late in the game and saw that JRob and ETN are both healthy. I don't think we had any injuries to speak of and the youngsters got their first game on the books. Team is a work in progress as expected and has some things to clean up for next week. I agree...I mean we took the lead in the second half...made the adjustments...it came down to one drive by Washington in the end....we need to clean up some stuff but we are competitive
Also. For imbalancing sake.
Robinson - 11 carries. Etienne - 4 carries. Two of your best overall players with speed and game changing ability combined for a whopping [impressive] 15 carries today. Gotta also get the penalties under control. We could've won, but we're not making the playoffs this year anyway. Hopefully we come away next week with a win, as we keep the Colts winless in Jacksonville.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Fully expected it. Six to seven wins ideally but the games will be closer than Joseph Walter Jackson was to his belt than he was to his children.
