Mahomes went to a playoffs team loaded with offensive talent and learned under Doug's mentor. He's the elite of the elite in the NFL right now at QB. That you think Trevor has to be matching his production right now to be a good QB shows your lack of perspective and understanding of the game.

Great game for Trevor. One of his best in his young career. He was in total control of every situation. It’s fun getting to see young players develop.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

Most likely so. The colts didn't show they could stop him when the game was in doubt and the Jaguars were executing the extend the lead plan. They only managed to stop him when the Jaguars went to the take no risks and sit on the ball approach.
