Week 3: Jags vs Bolts

Their RG is a rookie and I think we can exploit some of their weaknesses on the oline with the way our front is playing. They aren't very strong against the run and another spot in their game I think we should exploit. Hopefully we can control the clock with the run and keep their offense off the field as much as possible. I also like the matchup against their WRs better than I did against Washington, both are really good but neither are burners
Mike Williams is a headache and creates match up problems. Was virtually unstoppable in that first half in KC. Keenan Allen is a chain mover. This will be their toughest test yet.

Ekeler is another sneaky good pass catcher and runner. Defensively it's Bosa, Mack, James, Samuel Jr, but, it's really Tranquill at linebacker that concerns me.

Very fast and instinctive. They allow the ball to flow to him. You're going to have to play them like KC did early. Run it consistently. Get the bootleg game going early left and right and get the screen ready. You only want to open it up when you absolutely have to against this team.

Williams and Allen are both very good but they aren't really deep threats or burners.  I think our corners matchup better against the bigger WR than the smaller, fast, burners like Washington has.  Ekeler is a really good back and I'm glad we have speed at the LB spot now.    Chargers are one of the worst teams in the league in run D so I'm not to concerned about that unless they stack the box and force Trevor to beat us like the Colts did then it will be on the oline and Trev

You will see a real elite qb next sunday, and if by some miracle trevor can match up with him, only then can any of you tell me the hype was justified

I seriously doubt anyone could tell you anything about anything.

For sure, I'd bet he is the smartest guy he has ever met.

At what point can we use this boards rules to officially label him a troll and start the ban process.

I'm sensitive to that because he's been arguing with Mods so a ban could be seen as unfair and a confirmation of his trolling opinions.

Did you just say Mike Williams is not a deep threat? I beg to differ.

Have a baaad feeling about this one.  I don't know that we can play with the same energy and intensity we had this past Sunday.  Seems we always have a breakthrough performance and then follow it up with an giant egg laying contest. We're going to have to score just to keep up, not going to hold them to single digits.

Pretty sure williams is near the top of the league in yards per reception since he's been drafted.

Not sure but you don't see Herbert going over the top and them beating one deep very often

Yes I just said that, he has the size but he's not a burner thats just going to blow by the defense.  Just looked it up, he ran a 4.53 at his pro day. He was actually who I wanted before he got the extension, I felt we needed that big WR but I'm glad we got Kirk

This will be a tough one. Both OLs on both teams will struggle. This may turn into a low scoring game. I'd be surprised if one team goes 24 points or over.

I feel you.  I have the same feeling as you. It appeared last year the D would play lights out (holding Buffalo to 6 points) then be gassed the next game.  Well that was last year with the Urban plan, so I am interested to see what happens this year.

if the game isn't over by halftime or we don't lay a complete egg... that will be a positive against a top team.

i wont predict anything... just sit back and hope for the best on this one.

The matchup of the week imo.  Bosa and Mack vs Cam and Taylor

Dosent help that nyc breaks more rules when talking to me than i do does it.

The ironic thing is, if my own personal beliefs/opinions were allowed to be said without hateful responses, i probably wouldnt even be defending those points anymore. But lets be honest, yall just enjoy the banter

I agree with you, but speed is just one factor of the bigger picture. Any 50/50 ball thrown towards Mike Williams is gonna come down with Mike. He is definitely a deep threat, he does not need the same separation other smaller and speedier receivers can achieve.

Quite a few talented pass rushers in this game. Walker, Allen for us and Mack/Bosa for the bolts.. gonna be tough for both QBs i'd imagine.

Who cares if he's a troll? Trolling shouldn't be a bannable offense. Who says he's trolling and they aren't his actual opinions? Banning people because they do not share the same opinions as the majority of the board is wrong in my opinion. Get enough people together and they can disagree with a correct opinion, label a lot as a troll and boom banned. If an example is needed, simply Google cancel culture. If people don't like what he says, block him.

The CoC cares and CJB said so. When every thread becomes a single poster's soapbox about an inflammatory opinion it can damage the environment and trying to control it is not unique to this MB. Banning for trolling is not done by popular vote as you can tell by the fact that CJB is still here. In short, this ain't 'Nam, we have rules here.
