Yeah, because if you don't do great in you're first 2 seasons in the NFL that likely means you won't ever be good. Correct?

Scheme around having to just pound it up the middle. I'd rather spend that money elsewhere.

....ER....that's what we've been trying to do.....if they know you don't have the horses in the interior of the line to punch it in, they'll be ready to defend against the other schemes.....

As a Broncos fan

I’m surprised by the money but the Jags are getting a solid guard, and one of the best run blocking guards in the NFL. For the Broncos, 76.2% of runs longer that 15 yards had Beadles pulling to that side and 83.3% of all runs longer than 20 yards had a Beadles pull. He’s the best pulling guard I’ve seen in a while. Lacks a bit in pass protection but you could do worse.

I don’t like the price but he’s versatile having played in both blocking schemes and was called by Peyton the smartest offensive lineman he’s been around.

Look at the crude we have had playing here lately. This is hardly a bad signing. How much excitement can you have for the guard position?  I will be happy if some of the up the center/guard pressure is improved.

 

Henne is still the QB so we will get to see pick sixes no matter who is signed.

Zane was the weakest link on the Broncos line, but it is a great line, He is a good G IMO.  If they thought he was all that great they wouldn't have let him go.  Either way, I see him as an upgrade for you guys and just a fantastic guy to have in the locker room and in your community.  I hate to see him go.
