Seems like a frustrating Jags game. I think we'll be competitive but I don't see the offense executing at a high enough level and the defense getting worked by Barkley as the game goes.

Naw, I've felt like we win this game all week and still feel it. We'll get this one.

Problem with a sig bet is that even if I win, I'll be too lazy to pick something out to give you lol. But sure I'll do one for a week if you want.

Here's a bold prediction. Etienne gets more all-purpose yards than Barkley. Jags win 20-16.

I feel like we're back to a culture of just losing and excuses.

We seem to be a popular "expert" upset pick to win but I just feel like we're going into another rut of maybe getting blown out every game. Hope I'm wrong. Like there's nothing to hang my hat on with the team lately. I know the team is capable, they've shown it. But now we have to find the consistency to execute and be the better team week in and week out.

We started the year with just 4 defensive tackles/nose tackles. Just 4 down hand-on-the-ground big bodies. This week 2 of them are on the injury report as questionable. I don't see how we can win like that.

That's actually two predictions, but I like both of them.  Don't think they either will come true though.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

So a team that's won two blow outs and lost four 1 score games is going to suddenly start getting blown out? Sounds like you're going into a rut of defeatism.

Close, but Travis dropped my cigar!

How many times does our defensive end crash down and take the fake from the QB, who then runs for 10 or 15 yards around the end before we make an adjustment? I’ve watched Trevor run a few successful bootlegs until the other team makes the adjustment and Trevor finds a defensive end or linebacker immediately in his face the next time he runs the play, and that’s the end of that. Perhaps instead of tackling the running back who doesn’t have the ball we punish the QB every time? Perhaps the QB might decide that that play is not worth running any more.

Cisco popped Jones pretty good on one play where he took an ugly slide. Surprised we didn't get a personal foul for that. However, that didn't stop Jones from proceeding to run it up our defense [BLEEP].

They focused so much on Barkley for three quarters they allowed Jones to dictate the game. Was the same exact issue we saw in Philadelphia it's going to be the same exact issue we'll see when they play the Jets, Ravens & Broncos this Sunday.

Caldwell is struggling to adjust and the defense is simply failing to effect the QB in the pocket. Way too much time in the pocket these last few weeks for the opponent's QB. It needs to be addressed.

Not sure what all the hype with Josh Allen is around here. I am not convinced he needs to be resigned. I would tag him and trade him for anything we can get just like they did Ngakoue a few years ago.

I just don't think Allen is physically strong enough to play the position and his speed doesn't make up for the weakness. Great guy and all that but simply not effective enough at moving the QB.

Agreed. People can throw out the PPF grade all they want. I don't care how close he gets to the QB or wins his battles. He's simply not hitting home and that was what he was drafted to do. If this team keeps losing and finishes with a top three pick? Will Anderson immediately becomes my favorite out of Alabama. Followed closely by Jalen Carter out of Georgia.

I would seriously tag Allen though and trade him for a 2nd and 3rd RD pick or a late 1st RD pick if a team feels like they can utilize him better than we could here. Start backfilling the WR, TE and G position offensively and start backfilling the DT and CB positions on defense. They have to start figuring out a way to effect the QB though.

The base three or base four just simply cannot get it done. It's aggravating.
