Jags vs Faiders

As others have said, this feels like a winnable game. I've been burned by this feeling a bunch, hopefully I continue my streak of wrongness.
24-23 Raiders. The lawn chair D folds when it counts the most. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
We're going to win this game. It's a new month. They made the two mistakes in one game that had plagued them in all of their last five losses previously just on an individual level. Two negatives make a positive. It's a universal law.
They have to pull this one out. I know we keep thinking it'll be close and tightly contested. I am starting to think we go full tilt and blow them out this Sunday. Expect Lawrence to start connecting again with Zay Jones and finding Christian Kirk just outside the red zone area. [BLEEP] it. I'll go out on a limb. Jaguars - 41 Raiders - 13 Please, please don't let me be wrong. Again. LOL. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I think the Jaguars are about to show up for this one. In such a way that the game is pretty much decided by the 4th quarter and there isn't much of a chance to poo it away.

A lot of optimism for a team embedded in a 5 game losing streak.
If they lose this game, I think its really possible to end with a worse record than last year. Which would mean a 14 game losing streak. Maybe lots of close losses mixed in there, but losses just the same.

They've been in position and capable of pulling out a win in all of the other losses but made too many mistakes to survive. Not surprised there is still optimism.
The Raiders' 25th-ranked defense is surprisingly good against the run, ranking 10th. But the threat of the run just might give Lawrence an opportunity to turn this season around. Las Vegas struggles to get after quarterbacks, ranking dead last in sacks and turnovers. If ever there were a time for Lawrence to cut down on giveaways, this is the week.

Yup, last week Lawrence and Co. went against a Defense that is #2 in Points Allowed (Bills are #1) and #1 in Passing. This week they go against a Defense that is the 25th worst in both Points Allowed and Passing. The Passing game should have no troubles moving the ball against them. We'll see if that holds true come Sunday. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Monday they are going to crush us.
Tuesday we might keep it close if the D plays well. Wednesday if the offense doesnt turn it over and the D gets some lucky breaks maybe we can win. Thursday hey i am starting to see some matchups i like we might win this one. Friday they got no pass D and cant score starting to feel pretty confident in a win. Saturday our offense is really going to move the ball easily and the D will get a ton of sacks, easy win. Sunday are you kidding me we are going to crush them. Rinse and repeat every week of the season! Hey its better than no football!! (11-02-2022, 08:41 PM)surfon Wrote: Monday they are going to crush us.Hey... it's happened six times. It didn't happen at least twice. Low man is due. We get a blow out win here. The Raiders dont play well in Jacksonville. Not worried about this match. Or the Chiefs game next week. I'm more concerned about the upcoming loss against the bye week.

I have absolutely zero confidence in this team winning anything. Expectations:none
I don’t even know what to think anymore. I feel more hopeful than in years past, but we’re still finding ways to lose. I don’t believe in curses, which are really just entrenched attitudes, but they’re hard to break. Back to back wins would go a long ways to breaking the ‘curse’ but the schedule isn’t helping. If we do manage to win against LV, the Chiefs loom like a Goliath.

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

I already have a feeling that Derek Carr is gonna look like an MVP against us. Jags like to let people have their career games. 27-24 Raiders.

Jags have to get another W somewhere along the line don't they? Jags 24, Radahs 20.

Impossible to guess if the Jags play well for more than 2 quarters in this one.
3.5 good quarters might even do it. Otherwise, they'll let Mike Lombardi set up mismatches on our LBs and backup CB all day and Carr will pick them apart + a dose of Jacobs in the 4th to seal it.
