what is the fascination with bottom of the roster guys?

Do we really think that the team holds itself back by keeping better players on the bench (disregard last year, for cripes' sake, Urbz.)?

Unless one of the top four guys is hurt, it's probably not time.

I thought that, or one or more of the PS receivers just aren't clicking.

The idea is that since we aren't a playoff team this year it doesn't matter if we finish with 3 wins or 6 wins, we need to figure out who is part of this team next year. That's why Jones is intriguing right now, because MJJ probably isn't here next year so can he be that third guy? We have the chance to work him in right now instead of giving plays to guys who aren't going to be here. Same with Shaq Griffin, why play him when he's getting cut in a few months? Put the drafted guys out there and see if they can play. If they can then great, we're ahead of schedule for Camp, If not then we know we need to do something else in the offseason. Same reason why we shouldn't be giving ETN a huge workload the rest of the way, don't waste that body on games that don't matter. The rest of this season is training camp in real time. Get the young guys game action and let's get ready for next season.

I understand your argument.  But I don't agree with it.  We finally have a good coaching staff and a good core of players.  Let's put our best out on the field and see how good we can be the rest of the regular season.  Let's maximize our wins.  Let's build momentum for next season that way.  Our #4 receiver is going to be in the draft, probably.  Our first three are going to be Christian, Zay, and Calvin anyway. And build that TE room in the off-season, too.

Doug had staff make a video presentation to show players in a meeting that detailed the history of the Jags / tacks rivalry.

I love that.

I'm telling you...seeing Trevor Lawrence at the end of the game waving goodbye to Titans fans and getting in the face of Simmons for being unnecessarily rough and pointing to the scoreboard and seeing Josh Allen say how much he hates the Titans makes me smile and provides the rare moments it seems Jaguars fans and players are of the same mindset.

Thank you for stoking this, Doug Pederson.

Pederson and his staff are doing exactly what they were brought here for. Just the improvement in Trevor alone is worth it.

The losses earlier in the season was frustrating but had to happen. If we get a Franchise QB out of this, it won't matter
