We're in first place, but still look way out of place.

Agree. But, with the Week 18 Bengals vs Ravens matchup potentially for the AFCN Division title and high playoff seeding possibly on the line for Cincy, I could see that game being the one that's flexed. In that game, Cincy could either be the AFCN Champ with a #2 seed in the line or end up the #5 wildcard team and having to visit AFCS winner the next week. Here's to hoping they flex the Jags/Titans,, Jags and Cincy win in week 18, and the Ravens have to visit Jax. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! But we should still go in trying to win this game next week... a wild card spot isn't necessarily out of reach.... It's a far reach but New England losing today hopefully Pittsburgh pulls out of win against the raiders and hopefully chargers lose we're still in contention for a wild card too....and the aspect of you don't sit starters while you're on fire
It’s a dumb reason but one of a couple reasons I hope we win against the Texans too is so we have a winning record and don’t hear that stupid nonsense that we don’t deserve a berth and or a home game because we’re 8-9

There is no combination of wins and losses by either team that gets us out of that requirement. (12-24-2022, 06:59 PM)nejagsfan Wrote:(12-24-2022, 06:54 PM)Jaguar Warrior Wrote: Well they did. I would tend to agree with this. The players want to play for their contract incentives, etc. keep the momentum going
How about this scenario. If titans win next week and we lose, but then both teams tie week 18, we would have wished we played to beat the Texans.
