Keep fighting kid. Please pull through.

Just feel numb from all this.

I know what you mean. I don't even want to think about football right now.

Poor kid. Hope he pulls through. An odd situation. It looked like a routine, wrap up tackle and he got up just fine. When he froze and his body shut down it was scary when he fell back. I can see why both teams were horrified.

Usually an injury results in pain and you can see a player moving or reacting to said pain. He just completely shut down. Hard to watch.

Exactly. Football doesn't feel important right now. Just feel very grateful for the players we have and what they do for us fans every Sunday.

Ugh, man I hope this kid pulls through.

The play seemed rather innocuous.

I truly hope that Damar's health condition progresses positively and he is able to make a full recovery. My fear is that his brain could have potentially been subjected to anoxic/hypoxic conditions for a sustained period of time especially when CPR was administered for ~9 minutes and then what seemed like a long wait for an ambulance to arrive.

This is just another unfortunate reminder that shows how fragile life can be. Hug your loved ones, tell them you love them and remember that ALL of us are in this "game" of life together. Let's send some positive thoughts/prayers/energy for Damar and his family.

This video shows a doctor explaining how the hit to the chest caused his collapse.

Let's not jump to any conclusions. The hit would have caused the collapse whether he was "a certain young man" or not....in other words...ANYBODY hit in that manner at the right time.

Here's another doctor that echoes the above, explains why it wouldn't be the result from an enlarges heart, and seems to bolster what enigma offered above.

This seems unlikely.

Prayers for the young man.

4 of the scariest injuries in the NFL happened on the same filed. The AB hit, Shazier injury, Tua injury, and Hamlin all happened on the same field.

Well, that’s what the team said. And I’m sorry, when has it ever been normal for sooo many young athletes dying or having cardiac issues? Nothing about what happened to that young man last night was normal.

I’ve been watching Football for damn near 50 years and I’ve NEVER seen this happen before..

The NFL will never admit their I’ll advised mandate was possibly a huge mistake. Sadly, we will keep seeing this story play out again and again.

Eat [BLEEP] and delete your account.

It literally happened in the 90s to Hank Gather but let's go ahead and blame it on the shot before any tests have been run.

You're a garbage human.
