This thread is likely overrating Baalke, he wasnt as bad as people thought for finding talent last year. Pedersen is the difference. I think thats pretty obvious. Trent did a good job with free agents tho, especially WR, which wasnt his str previously. Also did a good job of not drafting guys with major injuries prior to draft this year. I still think he hurt our chances of getting a good coach last year, but that doesnt matter now, cause doug p came anyway, prob for trevor.

RRH and Jenkins are 2 players that have been a huge part of the way this D have been playing as of late.  All championship defenses have players like that.  Donyou expect All Pros at every position at that price tag?

Agnew is the best return man in the league and a decent WR, not ok lol.  Griffin is horrible, Ward and Wilson were on a 1 year deals and aren't  even on the team anymore lol, Manhertz is on a cheap deal that is a FA at season end.  I'm glad we didn't go sign those big contracts like you wanted in the first year of a rebuild because if so we would have Trevor nor some of these FAs we signed this year.  You don't hit a home run with every FA signing.  I guarantee you look at our FA signings over the last 2 and match it up around the league against all the other teams and our overall signing will look pretty good.  He'll, a lot of times FA signings don't even work out.

Any one who has paid any attention to the NFL for more than a few years knows that the percentage of hits in free agency we've experienced the past two years is high. We've hit on a higher number of free agents than we've missed on and several have been integral to our current win streak and postseason appearance. 

Specific to your dumb little list:

Agnew is playing above his contract as a returner and as a receiver (which was never really anticipated.)

Manhertz is getting peanuts to be a 6th linemen on 22 snaps per game. He's doing exactly what is required of him.

We’ll never know the full extent of how much involvement on decisions Baalke vs Meyer had and who gets credit for what. What we do know is that Khan knows the answer to that question and he stuck by Baalke in the face of enormous fan pressure to part ways with him.

At minimum, the narrative that Baalke is a snake, cancer, whatever else has been obliterated. We still have a few posters running around the board being completely governed by their negative emotional taek on the guy and their inability to admit they were wrong or got duped by groupthink which was based on little info and a lot of speculation or, lastly, at the very least have the sense to keep their shaky opinions to themselves in the face of the facts at hand that clearly do not support the narrative. Best of luck with that.

Yes, I have always believed the players were Baalke's.  Meyers was a large feeling Teflon suit guy, delegate...delegate...delegate.  Always has been every where he went. I will say he will not last on TV unless he has some very good writers giving him things to say.
