Craziest I've ever seen that stadium

#1

I knew it was going to be a mad house, but what in the world was that last night?

If there's been a louder game dating back to 96, I haven't seen it. That game vs the dolphins in 99 was a nut house, but that [BLEEP] last night was unreal.

I heard the stadium was 10,000 over max capacity

That surpassed the bills wildcard game and the Seahawks game from 2017 by a good margin.

98% Jags Faithful in attendance. Thousands, and thousands of us.

I'll never forget it.

Truly unreal. Especially after sitting through some of the games the last few seasons.

There have been some wild and crazy games before. Not sure how it compares due to recency bias but I remember a night game against the Colts back in the Garrard days that was absolutely manic. And of course the Bills playoff game was crazy.

Duval has the capability to make turnouts like this the norm, which will be great. Just need to have a competitive team on the field consistently.

The game we beat Pittsburgh 9-0 was electric like last night.

Obviously I wasn't there last night, but the 9-0 win against the Steelers on Monday September 18, 2006 was probably the loudest crowd I had heard.

Was that the 'wiggle stick' night too?  I think it was.

No doubt the Steelers and Titans have been our biggest rivals and playing them in big games at home brings out the best in our fans.

For me, it will be the standard that all other games will be judged.

Yeah that was a good one, however, there were a ton of steeler fans here for that.  Not sure I’ve ever seen such a packed house 95% or more of which were Jags fans screaming in unison that loudly.

Scobee hitting the 60+ yard game winner against the clots was pretty wild too.  As was the garrard Hail Mary against the tinhorns.

It was fantastic to see! Only been to one Jags home game in my life and compared to last night, it was like a graveyard lol. Great to see the support and long may it continue.

Agreed about the % of fans.  I was at that steelers game.  I was at the bills playoff game.  Been to a few others that had a packed house.  But cant remember the last game I went to where it was that loud, that packed, and nearly all Jags fans.  In one way that is a little sad but on the otherhand it's the reality of being a smaller sized NFL town with a lot of transplants that have kept their original loyalties.

Was a weird game in that we didnt have tons to cheer about and we could never keep momentum going, but those last 3 minutes once we took the lead... Not sure I've ever heard it that loud.

I was saying to my wife and the couple next to us and even texting friends watching on tv that all game long to me it felt like as soon as we can take the lead the game would be over.  I just didn’t expect us to wait until the final minutes of the game to take the lead.

The 96 game against the Falcons that sent them into the playoffs, 99 playoffs, all were mostly Jags and highest attendance games. The 99 playoff games may not have been the loudest though as they were over the quickly.

It was a true hometown crowd. No concentrations of opposing teams fans. We arrived early and were loud from the beginning. Stayed that way until the "trick" play then seem to level off. As the game wore on and that team from tennesse kept the lead I would say the crowd was loud. It was louder than I have heard in a long time. Even though it was loud you could feel something else building in the stadium just waiting for an event to release it. When the fumble and scoop and score occurred it exploded. All the years of living rent free in the heads of Jacksonville were over. It was off the hook for the rest of the game. The quiet reserved couple beside me were both screaming maniacs. I am assuming it was the same throughout the stadium.
