The 98 game against the Bucs was pretty loud.

Duval has the capability to make turnouts like this the norm, which will be great. Just need to have a competitive team on the field consistently.

Obviously I wasn't there last night, but the 9-0 win against the Steelers on Monday September 18, 2006 was probably the loudest crowd I had heard.

Yeah I remember that one, it was pretty good too.

Absolutely the loudest Jags game ive ever heard during the final tacks drive. I wish they would display a decibal meter on the jumbotrons. It might urge the crowd to get even louder.

To me, no crowds have seemed on par with the 90s crowds. I attribute some of my opinion to the games being a new experience for the city while being personally enamored with the NFL and the fact that my city, my home has an NFL franchise, A FRANCHISE THAT WINS OR GOES DOWN FIGHTING. Another aspect being I was, at that time, a teenager being introduced to the sights and sounds of the games, its environment and the emotional responses to the them. Those responses created an experience, an impression, and a bond. One that has been sought after time and time again. It created a fan.
I had a choice to make two weeks ago as I live out of town: do I go to the regular season finale or do I wait for the potential playoff game? I chose the tack game out of respect to the teams history playing that group and the opportunity to be there for a NEW page in that history and to play a vicarious part in it; I could miss attending a playoff game against who-knows-who. I purchased a ticket.
As I made my way to the stadium, to my seat, and during the game I noticed how many teenagers I saw with number 16 jerseys, and I realized this game could be their own experience of what I experienced in the 90s: this game could be one that creates a bond that is sought time and time again, and could create new fans. The experience of a HYPE environment and the resulting VICTORY undoubtedly will have left an impression. The future will tell whether or not that bond will be sought after.
I've read in recent weeks on here it's feeling like '96, and while it just might feel like the 90s all over again to us oldheads, to those teenagers it will be a new feeling. A new day is dawning Duval, and the future is bright. I am glad to have witnessed it.

Last night was epic. I got multiple warnings on my Apple Watch that the noise level had exceeded 100db, which I have no doubt given how loud it was. I can’t think of another game that had that kind of energy and excitement in recent memory. The fumble scoop and score was probably the most cathartic moment I have ever felt at any sporting event, You could just tell that something big was going to happen and when it did…..it was truly SPECIAL!! The Jags fans deserve it and I hope we get more great moments in the years to come.

It was great being in the stadium surrounded by jag fans, not a mixture of us and whatever team we’re playing fans. It was [BLEEP] awesome!

Wiggle stick night was the Colts game in which a fan pantomimed the sticks in the form of a female body part on camera. It's famous!

So was Brian Williams. They were picking guys up off the ground and bamming them.

Oh man I remember Brian... Such a physical corner.

Also Terry Cousins patented nickle blitz. That 2006 roster was probably my favorite defense we ever had in our franchise.

Every level was stacked with smashmouth players.
