Which would be a dumb vote, but I am obviously biased.

Daboll would be my pick outside of Pederson. Simply for the fact that he managed to get a lot out of Daniel Jones after everybody had all but written him off going into this season. They also battled through quite a bit of injuries and I don't think you can really point to anybody outside of Barkley that really jumps off the page playmaking wise.

Also, the NFC East is a very tough division to compete in compared to the AFC South. Philadelphia, Dallas & Washington. All of those teams play relatively well defensively. They all battled through some key injuries across the board but still managed to remain competitive overall as a division. Especially with the QB play being up and down with different starters.

Not sure when the voting would commence. But, if we make a deep run in the play-off's or at least get a win over the Chargers while the Giants lose their game? I think Pederson gets a slight edge voting wise.

It's funny you say that because that's exactly who he reminded me of leading up until this year. It's impressive that Daboll managed to turn him into essentially a very poor man's Josh Allen. 

Daniel's a pretty damn good runner with the football in his hands but his ability to read and react to defenses in the passing game is concerning. His arm talent is decent but not spectacular. 

It'll be interesting to see what they do in the off season. I could see them drafting Anthony Richardson in RD2/RD3 or Tanner McKee in RD3/RD4.

It's worse now, but it wasn't at the beginning of the season - the Giants did not finish dead last in the NFL 2 straight years...  Nobody was worse than us before the season started.  We have surpassed the Giants thanks to Douggie Phresh and the funky bunch.


Oehser mentioned somewhere in his blogs that there are multiple outlets that hand out Coach of the Year honors, so we can be annoyed with lots of people if Doug gets snubbed by all of them.

Taking a team that had one playoff birth in over a decade, being the worst team in football the last 2 years and the decade, an Urban Meyer train wreck clean up, Bad/losing Culture, into a team that just ripped off 5 games straight to make the playoffs? To a Jaguar team that not only got a wild card but AFC South division champs? Hard to argue against Doug for Coach of the year.

They finished third, bruv. And stole bizarre close games, at Tennessee, at Jville, vs. Carolina, etc. He did a good job with a so so so roster, agreed. They won 9 games, like Jags, but Jags won their division, from NFL worst; complete metamorphosis. Noted Edge: Pederson

A head coach lasting 15-20 years is a rarity these days.  However, if I had to bet on one, DP would probably be my pick.  Khan has shown an incredible loyalty.  Gus Bradley got 4 years.  Most owners will fire coaches because of fans and ticket sales.  Khan has so much money, he doesn't care.  If he likes Pederson, he will keep him even if he has a couple of down years.  I think Khan thinks much more like a typical CEO and less like a typical NFL owner.  In the business world, if a manager is good, you keep him until retirement.  If DP is a good coach now, why would he be a bad coach 15 years from now?  Is he going to become less intelligent over time?  Is he going to get hit over the head and get brain damage?  Not likely.  A businessman sees it as logical to keep him.  I think DP is here for the long haul.
