It’s the first season since 2010 the Jaguars have 3 players with 1,000 total yards.
Etienne 1,441 Kirk 1144 Agnew 1025 The only other years the Jaguars had 3 players gain 1,000 total yards were 1998,1999,2000,2001 Agnew becomes the 2nd return specialist to gain 1,000 total yards, joining the great Reggie Barlow, who gained 1,000 in 2 separate seasons (1998 he gained 1470 yards and 1999 he gained 1012 yards) Agnew also joins Barlow and Deji Karin as the only return specialists to gain 200 yards or more in a single game. Agnew now has 8 games in which he has gained 100 total yards or more in a single game. His latest came against Tennessee 1/7/23 in which he gained 166 total yards. Barlow gained 100 total yards 13 times. Brian Witherspoon did it 12 times. Barlow 227 yards against Denver 1998 Karim 215 yards against Buffalo 2010 Agnew 210 yards against Indy 2021 Mike Thomas gained 208 total yards against Ten in 2010 if you want to count him as a return specialist. Side note: MJD gained 303 total yards against Indy 2006 and holds the record for most games of 200 yards or more in a single game with 9. MJD also has a game in which he gained 199 total yards. Side note: Taylor gained 200 yards 5 times. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I like Agnew, but 1,000 return yards simply means we're getting a lot of kickoffs. That's not a good stat to have as a team.

It's 205 punt return yards (on 25 punt returns), 547 kick return yards (on 21 returns), 187 receiving yards (23 receptions) and 86 rushing yards (12 carries).
in today's NFL is alot different then in the late 90s and Early 2000's before they changed the Kickoff rule some 5 or 6 years ago. where you could return almost every kick.
goodjob Boys. that is awesome. (01-17-2023, 04:47 AM)JagFanatic24 Wrote: It’s the first season since 2010 the Jaguars have 3 players with 1,000 total yards. MJD never topped 200 return yards in a game? He had a kick return TD against the colts in 2006 in the 375 game which is 100 right there, very surprised he never eclipsed that mark with how explosive he was.
Championship Formula:
1) Draft Trevor Lawrence! 2) Play good physical Defense! 3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy! 4) ??? 5) Blank #2 6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Jones-Drew had a couple of games where he had over 100 return yards. This isn’t just based on return yards, it’s based on total yards which includes rushing yards, receiving yards, kick return yards and punt return yards. Jones Drew is the only player in franchise history to gain over 300 yards in a single game which was against the Colts in 2006. This thread was to give a shout out to Agnew, who is our Swiss Army Knife.
Jamal Agnew sets a Jaguars playoff record for return yards in a single game with 154 yards.
131 kickoff return yards 23 punt return yards |
