a couple guys are not feeling this game well afraid of Trevor and Doug. most of them think it will be a walk in the part, another bye week.

1 guy actually asked who our number 1 corner was i was talking about.  He didn't think we had one since Ramsey Left.

go jags I'm gonna be posting on there board all week.

We appreciate the friendly banter. We can get pretty crazy over there, but I will make sure to watch my p’s and q’s here. Should be a really fun game. Patrick has been very efficient this year, and playing at an incredible level. I’m sure Doug is going to throw everything in his playbook at us to try to win this game. Just not sure you guys are quite there yet. Not that you don’t have a great team, and coach. Because you definitely do. Just Casey has been in this position every year for a while now. And Andy coming off of a by is almost automatic. Here’s to a good game with no injuries to either side.

i like to talk football and the the pros and cons of each team.  my brother is a chiefs fan so i pretty much every jags and chiefs game every week as we watch together.  Chiefs have a great team but don't have that deep threat they had with Hill.  they have tried with a few added players but are more intermediate than deep this year, they are efficient, they score points and they have a fiesty front D.  the big thing that no one in the Media is bringing up is how much we have changed for the better and started right when we started our streak.

Getting hasty more involved in the offence
Engram has been one of the best TE in that span as well
Trevor has been one of the best QB in the league since week 9
Williams as our primary outside CB
Walker with his hand in the dirt
11 Sacks in the past 4 games and close to 26 over the past 9.  and lots of pressures as well
Harris and Foley are really impacting the pocket

lots of improvement since the KC game.

this is going to be a really great game I can't wait.

Watching the latest SOTG video reminded me of why I feel like we can win against the Chiefs. In previous games when we were shut out at the half by a several TDs I have rarely bothered watching the second half. What's the point? You can tell the men have given up so why torture myself?

I didn't see that attitude at all with this team Saturday and haven't seen it in the games i've been able to watch this season. This team is confident. There was no question I was watching the whole game Saturday and I just knew they would come back. I didn't know how but I knew they would come back and win. It was going to be ugly, and it was, but we won.

I have that confidence now going into this game with the Chiefs.

Can we get the Chargers to trade Bosa to KC this week? Bosa played a heck of a game for Jacksonville last weekend. Smile

this team has no quit, you look back at 2017 and defense played their [BLEEP] off with no respect to the coaches, they didn't like the DC, they often ran their own routes and concepts with no discipline from the coaches. if they did that with Doug and Mike they would be benched fast. they are a tough coaching staff, they want to win and they want the players to believe in themselves.

can't forget the QB, i watched a breakdown of the game this past week and many of the misses, the INTs were cause of bad route running. that got fixed in the 2nd half but incredible what we were able to accomplish. and most importantly Trevor not throwing anyone under the bus and took it on his shoulders as bad QB play. a lesser mature QB could of easily just passed it on and ruin the lockeroom.

the Big guys are becoming leaders as well, Harris, Foley, Olukun, Allen, meshing at the right time and getting home on these pressures. we had 14 Sacks up toDenver game. since then we have 21 sacks up to the Ten game. defense has stepped it up.

if we can start fast like we did in Philly, Hou, NYJ, TEN 1st game. we can give ourselfs a shot.

Been a long time since I have looked forward to the next game. I love that the team is playing with house money and this seems to be the start of a build and a team with a bright future.

Chiefs defense, specifically the secondary are very young. Sneed is really good not only in coverage, but also blitzing. Sneed finished with the most tackles of all CBs, most batted passes, 2nd most forced fumbles, the most pressure on the quarterback, and the most sacks.

McDuffie is a rookie, but has better numbers than your guy Tayson. He is less than 1% away from Surtain as far as target rate goes. Secondary has been playing much better since putting McDuffie in the slot.

Karlaftis has come along in the second half of the season. He’s second best rookie DL in the league as far as pressure, and Sacks. Jones, Furious George, and Dunlop are good at generating pressure.

The offense runs through Kelce, and he’s had a heck of a year. He finished with 664 YAC which is best in the league among ALL pass catchers.

McKinnon has been on a tear, and is very much on the same page with Mahomes. He’s got 9 TDs in the last month of the season. And he’s always prepared for when Mahomes does something off script.

Pacheco has only been starting for less than a season and still ended up with close to 1000 yards. Chiefs actually have the same yp carry as the Jags.

Shutting down our offense is not an easy task. Playoff Andy and Patrick are always locked in during the divisional round. Pat has never lost in the divisional. He’s also never played an away playoff game, or made it to the AFCCG. This week will continue those trends. I’m thinking 31-20 Chiefs.

Maybe a stupid question but do the tickets to the tailgate need to be purchased in advance? This will be my first NFL game so not sure how the tailgating stuff works.

No, but they are slightly less expensive if you do. Also they have four different levels and prices. We went VIP, all inclusive food, booze, tents etc.

McDuffie is good. And it's "Tyson Campbell"
Their completion percentage allowed are separated by 1.3% and both rank among the best in the league.

Trevor targeted Sneed 7 times in the last matchup and completed 100% of those passes, so...

Jags offense has scored plenty on good secondaries this year. I'm not very concerned about that part. They adjust well to coverages.

Stopping the chefs TE, and RBs is my concern. We've had too many games this season that showed weakness from our LBs and safeties and NB to slow the underneath passes and leak-out routes to TEs and backs. Couple that with Mahomes ability to improvise and the Jags will likely need to put up a big number to compete in this one.
The cowboys are a stingier pass defense than the chefs and we hung 40 on them.  So it's do-able.
But Dak isn't Mahomes, and that's a big wildcard.

Dear Jaguars, you are going up against the mighty Mahomes and his fearsome Chiefs, so what…. You can beat them. Besides, you never know when you will get this opportunity again, it’s not promised and no one is going to ordain you Champions. You have to go take it. So have fun, it is a game, but give everything you have to win. This is your chance, make the most of it and kick some [BLEEP]…

Only way we can win this game is if our front 4 has the game of their lives. Josh and travon need to play out of their minds.

I agree. Walker is the wild card. He could be the best athlete on the field along with Allen. We need our cbs to cover tight too. Nickel back better be ready. Jenkins and Cisco need to take care of Kelsey. Coach Caldwell could throw in some interesting blitzes to help confuse the chiefs line. Patrick is great at running the ball when everyone is covered, so a spy might be a good thing to stop him from picking up cheap first downs on the ground when all the defenders backs are turned looking for the pass.

Go jags!!!!!

Your right NYC, we've got to try and take away the TE's and RB's. The Chiefs are going to hurt you one way or another and it can be a case of pick your poison but we need to minimize the big plays as much as possible. Can't let them go down the field in 3 plays. Caldwell has gone up against the Chiefs a few times with the Bucs and again this season so I hope he's got a few ideas up his sleeve.

We're going to have to play a smart, mistake free game and be damn near perfect and not let the Chiefs get comfortable and rolling. I know everyone's going on about Andy Reid's record after the bye but teams do sometimes come out flat and if we can keep Mahomes on the sidelines it helps us.

This game is a blessing and a curse.

Is a win likely? Probably not. But if you take out the best team in the playoffs at that point you gotta feel pretty damn confident in a potential run at the bowl
