Chiefs vs Jaguars scores?

Watch tape on what Tampa did to him in the SB.

The first matchup is painful to re-watch with all the drops and penalties in key situations. That and not being able to capitalize on generating 3 turnovers in the first half. A lot of shoot yourself in the foot type plays and calls. There were a lot of good plays too though.

We’re better than that outing now. I’m not sure what the score will be, but if we can minimize mistakes, I think we’ll win.

Yup they left a lot out on the field in that 1st match up. Riley missed 2 field goals in that game as well. It was the first double digit loss of the season.

This team is 7-1 since that game.

Hes been in the title game every single year since we lost to new england. And to me, i dont need an abundance of rings to validate talent. A superbowl win is a team victory. This guy is gifted past anything we have seen in the nfl at the position barring injury or early retirement he will likely take just about every passing record in record time.

The metric you shifted to will never be surpassed by anyone beyond Brady either.  14 out of 22 seasons (I believe) he was in a conference championship game.  Insane.  Far greater likelihood that Mahomes has a great career but flames out long before Brady has.

There appears at the moment to be a bunch of young talented QBs in the AFC.  Going to be that much more difficult to dominate if that holds true for an extended period.

Longevity and health ofcourse will play a factor im just saying hes absurdly good, his first full season was as good or better than bradys best year. We shall see tho

They seem to recognize we were one of the hottest, if not the hottest team in the league down the stretch. They've been sitting around thinking about this for a while, we need to start fast on them. Sometimes I think teams can get rusty just sitting and waiting.

We have momentum and nothing to lose, but the whole enchilada to gain. I'll say 41-24 KC, but my heart says 38-34 Jags.

We are jag fans, the football gods like to make fools of us. Thata why predicting a loss = win. Believe

To be fair, KCs OL was decimated in that SB. They were starting backups and their backups backups, some playing out of position. Not good going up against a great defense.

Need Lloyd to be able to keep Kelce to an underwhelming game.

Yeah, I think both of their tackles were out and Mahomes was running for his life all day without need for blitzing.

I'm not much into score predictions, but this team is rolling, and I don't recall anyone getting any new injuries lately.  At least we won't have to worry about injury killing the hot streak before we get to KC.
Looking forward to Saturday, but I'm still stuck at feeling guarded optimism.

I've rather have our D force Mahomes into unconfortable situations.  Blitz early, blitz often.  Make him make fast reads or run with his legs.  There's nothing worse that watching a great QB have all the time in the world and just methodically walk his team down the field over and over again.

Let Cisco roam the center of the field, and then blitz from all angles...  Have 1 LB spy and zone read off 3-4 lineups.  Or go nickel D and have a CB spy.  Switch it up.  But it should be constantly showing blitz on every passing down.

Go down fighting.  Make him prove he can play a perfect game under pressure

Mahomes has a 116 passer rating vs the blitz. The best in the NFL.

Bad idea.

Contain.

Good god. It's like you haven't watched Mahomes play at all.

I'd rather go down in a blaze of glory, taking big swings than die by a thousand paper cuts. Containing Mahomes just guaruantees he picks us apart. Pressure on a QB is always better than just letting him sit in the pocket and disect us one play at a time.

I know it sounds crazy, but I feel like Mahomes is most vulnerable when he's rushing plays.

You know you can pressure without blitzing, right?

Yes.  I think so.  That's when you consciously make an effort to go after the QB (the thrower), right?

You know it's hard to pressure if you are worried about contain, right?

I can... In Madden...  If I played Madden.  Unfortunately, our team isn't very good at getting pressure with 4 men.  They have been getting better though.

He had no O-line.

Chiefs 35 Jags 27

I don't trust the defense against KC and Kelce is likely to destroy us.
Even if we lose I will be very happy with this season, the improvement of Trevor (and a lot of players) and of course grateful that we have such a great coach.

I am a fan, not a cheerleader.

All I know is if we somehow go up by multiple scores, I want to see Trevor looking at chiefs fans like:

Right, the defense has to make that decision on each play.  They will have to mix up that decision to try to keep the Chiefs off balance.  But regardless they should probably keep 7 back on every play.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

I hope we keep it pretty close. I feel like we're going to see Mahomes vs Lawrence a lot for the next several years. And if we keep it close, maybe we'll get a primetime game next year that's not thursday night football. Maybe even get a player in the pro-bowl.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
