Ultra are far and away our big sellers. They leave the others in the dust. It's not just price, ppl just want what they want. We even have a $2 draft special on PBR and it is a very distant 6th to the $5 bottles of bud light, mich ultra, coors light, cans of white claw and corona. If I were a guessing man that marketing specialist is counting on those bud light/AB loyalist to have short memories and eventually wander back after the initial outrage. Time will tell.

Interesting you have coors light but not Miller Lite. I've noticed that pattern elsewhere. Now that they're owned by the same people, one is falling by the wayside. I think Miller Lite is far and away better than Coors Light but it seems others disagree. Anyone remember Michelob Light? After they introduced ultra, light became old news and you couldn't find it anymore. The uncomfortable part about it is, how much of that is the market deciding what it wants, vs. the corporation deciding what they want to market? Who's leading who in this?

The Straight Hate On Bud Light Is Real And These Sales Numbers Show It
For nearly as long as it has existed, Budweiser has been America’s beer. Its ad campaign has always revolved around that: baseball, NASCAR, the weekend cookout, bros just bro-ing out. https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-strai...9Ok6be3OUw ![]()

Miller sells almost the same as Coors. I just forgot that one. The tail does indeed wag the dog sometimes with which products are heavily marketed, but lots of consumer study takes place prior to those really big marketing pushes. They need to now there is a desire for the product first. It will be interesting to see if our beer sales shift at all with this little dust up. The business resides in a county that voted about 75% republican. I think ppl will keep drinking what they always drink for the most part, though. Personally, I prefer Michelob Light (not ultra) to all of them. You can find it - but it isn't distributed like it used to be. I buy 12 packs of it at Publix or total wine occasionally. Miller Light is next in my preferences of domestic light beers. Coors is third for me. Anyway, I'm drinking a lot less beer these days, so I tend to go for something more flavorful than domestic lights when I do have one or two.

I remember when people boycotted Nike by cutting off the swooshes on their socks.... Nike is doing just fine. Or when people boycotted the NFL (Lol) and said the NFL will go down hill.... NFL is doing just fine. People boycott for a short time and then revert back to their old ways. Bud Light will be just fine in the end. And all the guys running over bud light cans with their "big boy" trucks or shooting the cans with their guns are just a bunch of softies. Drama queens looking for attention. She went out and bought Coors. They're also Alphabet Soup friendly. So is Corona. The reality is that a lot of companies have been quietly endorsing and cutting checks to a wide variety of communities. Like most companies do. Everything is tainted.
It's cool to take a stand. All for it. Just make sure you do ALL of your homework before publicly backing another competitor's product. It's embarrasing. Best thing any politician can do that likes beer? [BLEEP] on namebrands and support your nearest local brews. Support your locals and they might return the favor via votes. If I'm in the mood for domestic light beer it's Michelob Light if I can find it, otherwise, Miller Lite. Bud Light, Coors Light, Keystone Light, Milwaukees Best Light, and Busch Light all taste the same to me. Mich Ultra tastes a little better than that group but not much.

With the latest fad being seltzer, Ultra sales have slowed and Mich Light has been returning to the shelves. Several of us had moved back to Michelob Light. I have a strong sense that most of them will look for another brand now.
