Maybe terminology is wrong on my end. I have seen catchy headlines like this one though all week.

When a stock has been on a 20% gain during the first quarter of the calendar year and a marketing dust up gives it a 3 to 4% dip, the stock is still exceptionally healthy. 

So far, it's not even enough of a drop to drive investors into buying it at a "discount"  (knowing it will rebound eventually) 

 BudLight has had some of the most successful marketing campaigns in the beer universe over the past 30 years. They'll produce another one of those and rebound from this - and they may not even need to if they just ride it out.

Most ppl that get fake mad over some dumb [BLEEP] like this forget about it in a few weeks.

Normally I would agree with you as I alluded to in an earlier post.  This one feels different though.  The head of marketing behind this campaign took a direct shot at the core Bud Light consumers.  She said in a roundabout way that Bud Light didn’t want them drinking their beer.  She made it personal.  The trans-campaign blunder could be forgiven over time and with a semi-apology; that marketing VP interview however is a different story.  Joe 6-pack is not as dumb as the elite progressives think he is.

It is but the wealthy aren't the ones that suffer. It's all the distributors and employees that will suffer. The VP of marketing will probably fail upward and get a higher position somewhere else.

Some folks don't want to give their money to people who gleefully violate their sense of morality. We used to have a fairly common set of those morals, but after decades of attacking them our enemies have driven a stake into our sense of community.

Some folks don't want to give their money to people who gleefully violate their sense of morality. We used to have a fairly common set of those morals, but after decades of attacking them our enemies have driven a stake into our sense of community.

Outwardly non-hetero US citizens have doubled from 3.5% of the population to 7.1% since 2012. 

That number will increase. 

That sense of morality you describe, which most would just label as homophobia these days, is going to become more and more a minority in the coming years.
Changing from one crappy light beer to another isn't going to stop that from happening. (or stop companies from marketing to that group)

I respect your values/morals. They are likely aligned with 70% of my family and friends. 
I'm just confronting the elephant in the room as no one seems to be addressing it.

I agree with the first point.  I disagree with the 2nd.  I do not believe conservatives enjoy being angry at all.  They just want to be left alone.  It’s why it takes them so long to rise up as they continue turn the other cheek.  Obviously I am speaking for mainstream conservatives and not the extremes you see on CNN and MSNBC but I digress.  AB is caving and this is not even an organized boycott.  Just people following their heart.
