Values of Remaining Picks

#1
(This post was last modified: 04-28-2023, 06:37 AM by The Real Marty. Edited 4 times in total.)

I consulted a draft pick value chart to see how much our remaining picks are worth in trade.

Random Draft Pick Value Chart

o   No. 56 overall (Round 2) 340
o   No. 88 overall (Round 3) 150
o   No. 121 overall (Round 4) 52
o   No. 127 overall (Round 4) 45
o   No. 130 overall (Round 4) 42
o   No. 160 overall (Round 5) 28
o   No. 185 overall (Round 6) 18
o   No. 202 overall (Round 6) 11
o   No. 208 overall (Round 6) 9
o   No. 226 overall (Round 7) 3
o   No. 240 overall (Round 7) 1

If we want to move up from 56 to 42, for example, it would require 140 points of value, so we'd have to give up #56 and all 3 picks in round 4.
Or, if all of a sudden we wanted pick #90, picks 121, 127, and 130, all together equal pick #90.

Also notable that our last pick is worth very little in the chart but Brock Purdy was the last man picked last year.

Meh. They could trade away next years pick if they needed to.

Most of next years picks are tied up to Ridley depending on what he does this year, therefore cannot be used in a trade

NGL if we could take all those 5-6-7th round picks and flippem for 2 more 4th round picks, and just have 5 picks in this upcoming round that'd be neat.

obviously not gonna happen probably but yeah lol.

Don't discount them.

Jimmy Johnson was considered one of the best drafters of all time.  He believed in accumulating a lot of draft picks to get "more bites out of the apple" in the hopes of finding some players.

I dont think Baalke has the eye for talent Johson had, but I would like to maximize his chances to get a pick right.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
