Round 5 - Abdullah OLB
|
Smaller guy at 6’1” and weighs 237 pounds. Runs a 4.4 and will rush the passer and can also play off ball LB in a 43 or 43 hybrid. He offers explosive quickness.

If they manage to get him on the field at OLB at the right times to rush or drop, he could make sense in the scheme.
Everything so far points to Walker taking lots of snaps inside and Lloyd getting rotation at OLB. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

For those not seeing how these picks project to rotate and how we may adjust our veterans, here's a chart that shows some names in some places they may potentially rotate or start
(The interior guys can really be moved around according to package situationally) ![]()
We may be sleeping on how they see chsisson. I remember lageman mentioning that he was playing a lot more physical toward the end of last season.

I'm not implying that he's an answer, I'm simply saying that they apparently felt good enough to wait till the 5th to address it bc they felt comfortable with him as the third edge. I really like this pick bc even if he struggles on the edge bc of length, I think he can be a plus starter as an off the ball linebacker and should make special teams.... special! It would have been grounds to lock Baalke up in an insane asylum if he even spent 2 seconds considering it. |
