Pretty cool for the respect of Beane to let Baalke know he wasn't going to get his guy.  Also Schoen had to let Baalke know he wasn't getting his guy before he traded back with them.  Cowboys were the only team they had to sweat it out for.

Good chance the Cowboys weren't going to take his guy with their line.

Just saw where Anton Harrison had the 2nd fastest 40 time at the combine this year, for Offensive Lineman. It don’t mean squat but it was cool to see. He was 1/100th away from being the fastest offensive lineman.

Anyone notice how when they showed the teams draft rooms all of them had a lot of people? Then they show the Pat's room and it is just Bill by himself. Not even the dog this year...lol

He ain’t playing this season. I’m sure he’s not one that is too comfortable with missing the play offs. That’s a tough division though and no more Brady to help.

With that said, i thought they had a really good draft this year.  I usually don't like the Pats drafts.  Gonzalez and White were really good values in the 1st and 2nd.  The only think they are missing is a WR1.  I think Jones will be much better this year being he doesn't have a DC calling the plays lol

Calling it now, Harrison will have a better season than Taylor. Harrison reminds me of Christian Darrissaw. Similar prospects coming out, similar size, athletic abilities, and play styles. Thoughts on Harrison and Darrisaw comparison?

Taylor was a poor run blocker. Looks like Harrison will be much better than Taylor in that department

Gotta love what we saw from Harrison last night. Physical in the run game he was moving into space and straight up bulldozing people in the run game.

Taylor was one of the worst blocking tackles in the league.  You need a tackle that can pass and run block.  KC I think will regret giving Taylor all that money

Can't blame them for reaching on it though,  he was decent in pass blocking and that whole team runs through Mahomes.  I think Jawaan will fill in nicely for them but if he goes to the Pro Bowl it will just be because of his team and not his play. Trevor even noted in his presser that the offense opens up so much when you can run the ball and impose your physicality on the opposing defense.

If Harrison is able to manage his shoulder issue, he seems to have the look of a very good NFL tackle who is capable of playing on both sides of the O. Line. Oklahoma has produced many excellent offensive tackles and he appears to be the real deal so far.

He is a very good athlete with great speed, agility and balance. His footwork is elite.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

We got 2 backs averaging 6.0 ypc or better and Etienne is averaging 4.4. That oline is playing above expectations so far.

preseason
I'd slow the roll till we see it for real

We need to see them protect Trevor on 3rd down with live bullets flying in a game that actually counts

Bartch has 5 NFL starts
Fortner had a sketchy rookie campaign
LT/LG is in flux when Cam is back from suspension

Plenty to prove yet

I'm not worried about the run game - but that's only half of what they do

Yea I don't want more heartattacks when I see Trevor go down awkwardly in a sack of some shoddy protection
