I am not sure of the particulars of the Ray Epps situation. But Epps is, and he is actually suing certain right wing outlets for defamation.
Even if he is lying and even if he deserves to be in jail, he is a small fish.
I have no sympathy for the wannabe terrorists that get attracted into terrorist plots via FBI plants in their organization.

So, just so I make sure I'm following... you're not ok with Trump suggesting that people peacefully protest at the Capitol, but you are ok with a man encouraging people to go INTO the Capitol, being present at the breach of the Capitol, being on the FBI's most wanted list then being quietly removed, and never being charged or brought in for questioning. That guy, who is probably an affiliate of a government organization, he doesn't need to be held accountable. The agency that enabled him doesn't need to be held accountable. But Trump... he needs to be held accountable. Brilliant.

Hey pal, I'll let you know if I ever decide to start taking political advice from vapid drug addicts.

Probably not gonna happen, but until then you just go ahead and keep on posting a bunch of not clever memes and spouting off about wanting me dead.

Hope that works out for you.

And you believe the elections were free, fair and integrous. I won't call you a fool but naive is probably appropriate.

They were just as free, fair and integrous as the one prior that saw the grifter get elected.

And I'm not naive because I didn't buy into a false narrative about election fraud that has been debunked six ways from Sunday. You're naive for continuing to believe it.

Not even close. The "debunking" you've seen is the government that put on the elections telling you the elections were on the level. In other news, I always believe the fox about the security of the hen house. I get it, I really do. You want to believe that everything is all right, that the government you trust isn't lying to you. It's the safe position, comforting even. But it's a lie, out in the open, bald faced, completely untrue; no matter how uncomfortable that makes you.

I'm completely not OK with people who swore to uphold the constitution trying to overturn it.  Unforgivable. Regardless of the protests and violence of January 6th, Trump in the days and weeks prior was asking anyone who would listen to miscount votes for him.  He should never ever ever come close to any position of public trust ever again.

I'm a little not OK with dudes who incite other bystanders to be violent.  But in the context of literally ending the constitution it becomes a lower priority.

Why can no one produce evidence that holds up to basic scrutiny?

It's a shame that this is where the rubber meets the road for so many conservatives.

Choosing to adopt conspiracy theory instead of the plain and simple truth.

You want to believe everything is not alright because you refuse to accept that the majority of Americans don't share your politics.

None of this makes me comfortable or uncomfortable.
I mean - It is kind-of a shame that millions of Americans are more comfortable adopting lies and crack-pot conspiracy than reality, but it is what it is. I can't change their minds.

Funny part on this particular election lie is that it was clear as soon as trump and his cult began spreading horse [BLEEP] propaganda about mail in ballots (several weeks prior to Election Day)  that this is where we were headed.
But y'all just cozied right up to that lie like kittens around a bowl of warm milk and it all just cascaded down from there with lie after lie - and your appetites for the lies had been expertly whetted - so you licked them all up.
Sad, hungry, little kittens.

It's fine. He hurls insults at me almost daily but loses his [BLEEP] when it comes back at him.

Indicative of his character.

I just happen to be in a zero [BLEEP] given kind of mood today so I responded by calling a duck a duck - when I typically don't go that far.
I'll go back to largely ignoring the insults when my normal mood returns.

Waiting to board a flight and was just struck by the insane irony of a sleazy new york city real estate developer with daddy's money somehow managing to convince a bunch of middle-America white guys to consider civil war because he lied to them.

It's just so insanely backwards.

For the life of me I can't get why folks don't see through his pathetic grift.

Maybe living n NYC and seeing him on the six oclock news every other month for ripping off a partner, vendor, contractor or tenant gave me the insight required, but man, this clown is working you guys that still fall for it.
