Rookies who appear potentially on the bubble include Miller Vohasek Lacey Braswell Lots of names listed ahead of them We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Good seeing Yasir above Jordan Smith at least on the depth chart. Interesting seeing Antonio Johnson 3 deep at FS.

The thing that kind of bugs me out is having two fourth rounders seemingly on the bubble.
Obviously they can work position group numbers to massage spots for these guys and preseason minor injuries could allow them to stash a couple depth players on short term IR, but the fact that Quarterman is still ahead of Miller may be a mild concern. Lacey having four guys ahead of him is also a bit of a red flag IMO. You'd like to see him leapfrog Ledbetter. Jordan Smith must really suck. They have Abdullah ahead of him and Abdullah has reportedly shown very little promise thus far vs NFL linemen. The coaches must simply see more than the talking heads do, and I hope they are right. Of all of those late round wing-and-a-prayer defensive backs, it would appear Braswell has the toughest row to hoe if he's going to make the team. Hallet and Antonio Johnson are not exactly in the safest place either - but at least they are getting praise from coaches and camp reporters.
Lageman is speaking highly of Abdullah. Spoke highly of DaVon Hamilton. Flatout said Fortner and Scherff can't block him.

Miller and Shaq are the same guy, so it makes sense that the rookie is behind. Once they get to cuts we'll see Quarterman's salary get released and we'll have pretty much the same back up guy in the same back up position again this year as last. Same with Daniel Thomas, Chris Claybrooks, Tre Herndon and the rookies behind them. This is the back half of your roster getting cheaper in preparation for fat contracts due out here shortly in 2024 and beyond. Have to figure out what's going to happen with Josh Allen, Tyson Campbell, Calvin Ridley, Walker Little, Andre Cisco, etc. Cam Robinson's contract should also fall off the books finally. I doubt Scherff will be here in 2024 as well. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. Gonna have to play out of his mind to crack the 53 @Kinda thought Doug would have Pederson higher up the depth chart@ I'm really glad that we are seeing the young guys pushing their way up onto the roster. I wonder if this is to serve guys like CVL and Smith notice? Get good or get gone, right? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Hallett is likely taking Claybrooks spot. I see that writing on the wall. They have Hallett doing gunner drills, and Washington doing backup returner stuff- which were the only things saving Claybrooks from being cut. Wouldn't be surprised if Herndon and/or Thomas stick, mainly because staff may not want 75% of secondary depth to be rookies. (08-08-2023, 11:35 AM)HURRICANE!!! The Engram and Prince group do half as many blocking drills and focus on routes/hands. The Farrells and Stranges focus more on blocking. Don't look to Farrell's catch numbers to learn anything about why he sits where he is on the depth chart.

If Junior is playing as well as they say then a CB group of Campbell, Williams, Junior, and a couple rookies is probably on the horizon. I feel like Cisco, Jenkins and Dewey are set with a rook or two along side them as well. Farrell is pretty much just a blocker, he's just not as big as ManHurts was. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
Nice first depth chart. Appears motivational as much as factual to me...but that's just me...

defense is going to be rough the whole year. Probably going to have a LOT of inconsistency from them. We have some solid guys on D, but no real game changers have emerged yet. If we had a Bosa and another CB I think we’d demolish the NFL. Our Offense is going to be amazing
The lack of depth at NT is concerning.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
Cooper Hodges at RG. Watch him… could be a gem. He might be the strongest cat on offense.
