Yeah. Been fearing this coming up again. We were signing street free agents within less than a week of gameday in some instances. We're in trouble if we don't start getting healthy here soon.

They may need to consider a trade for somebody that offers quality depth or starting experience. With Josh Wells on the IR settlement? What spot on the roster do they have at the moment that they can move a player or two off from and backfill?

Starting to get concerned. Especially for the London trip with them being over there for two weeks in a row.

Coach Pederson: 'Remember how Zach Wilson ran 30 yards in the other direction to save his life on Monday Night Football?'
Trevor: 'Yeah'
CP: 'We need you to do that on every play.'

..... my obligatory Thank You.

Thank you LA Rams for losing to the Jets, enabling the Jags to get the #1 pick.

Imma be honest, I’m starting to get concerned too. They better do something because we have a division to win.

Only players I can think of trading is Allen, Kirk, Etienne but that ain’t gonna work. If we have to sign guys off the street we’re in big trouble.

No need to panic.  All of these offensive line injuries are temporary, except for Josh Wells, who is not a starter.   Cam Robinson will be back for week 5.

I’m not concerned. Shatley is better at Center, and it forces the coaches to develop some younger talent at guard, which is not Shatley's strength.

Any street free agent could give Fortner good competition at Center. He flunked his opening competency test -- Buckner treated him like a turnstile. Apparently he wasn't hitting the gym often in the offseason.

Put him on IR and let him bulk up and actually have to compete for his job next season. It was handed to him simply because of his draft status, which wasn’t high to begin with.

Shatley is 32 years old and hasn't seen an NFL start at center in quite a while.

I hope he's still what you think he is.

I don't get why people hate Shatley, imo he is always solid when he plays. A lot of people were expecting him to get cut. Also, it's not like Fortner has been great, I doubt anyone notices a difference.

I am a fan, not a cheerleader.

Fortner has been consistently graded as a replacement level player, so logically his replacement should be about as good as he is.
But these are the still the Jags we're talking about, so it could always be worse...
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Maybe identify the best offensive line prospect on the practice squads around the league, it will cost you a roster spot for least 4 games. I would rather them take a chance like that than sign another 32 yo journeyman.

So it looks like we have to o-line hurt. Let’s hope for the best.

There are 3 offensive linemen on the practice squad who were in training camp and have some experience in our system. I think one of them is activated if there is a need on Sunday.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

I got to be honest, he looked terrible. IMO not a big loss. He has a lot to prove he is the man.

I mean... I guess. It's a little more worrying when your QB has actually shown some potential to be a super star than it was with David Garrard back there but i get what you're sayin.

I'd normally feel relieved to learn that our starting RG and C would tough it out and play, but...

they both sucked last week before getting hurt.
