What the -- are coaches even out there doing in some of your eyes then? What's the point of even having them to some of you if it's all the players?

These same coaches coached 8 of these 11 offensive starters in the latter half of last season when they played well
These same coaches coached this same defense late last year when they got scrappy and pulled out wins versus tough teams.

wouldn't you think that a coaching staff that turned things around midway through last season, would maintain and increase the successes the following season?

That's a logical conclusion, don't you think?

I'm not naming any names. I'm just asking a hypothetical based on the Jaguars seasons from Lawrence's rookie year, to his 2nd year under a new coach, and his 3rd year with the same coach he found success with the prior year.

We've hit some speed bumps. They're more likely to recover and get on track than for this to become the norm.

My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

All a coach can do is bench guys really or knock them down pecking order wise on the depth chart. Which very well may happen if this [BLEEP] crosses over or already crossed the pond with the team for two weeks in London.

Coaches can't catch passes.
Coaches can't block defenders.
Coaches can't tell you to HOW to do your job and then proceed to DO it for you.

So, yeah, just based on Doug's comments and demeanor post last game. That's probably the direction it's headed in.

simply put, the coaches put in their most important work Mon-Sat. The players put in their most important work Sun.

If either one is lacking, the results won't be good.

Folks tripping all over themselves and each other to pluck  scapegoats from thin air. 

Players screw up sometimes, people.
