No line protection for sure. Trevor missed some throws and there was drops. Commentator even mentioned he missed open guys they even showed some replays but maybe hes getting gun shy from the protection idk. I just know Stroud looked much better today.

I mean my goodness … on tank dells two deep balls they were complete busts ! No safety in the middle of the field corner outside leverage so he can just run a skinny post and completely get behind the defense ? Are we serious? And the TD what the heck have we never played a bunch set before ? 

Multiple other receivers with no one in the vicinity and 0 pressure on a Backup o line ?

Watch stroud will end up looking like every other rookie QB for most of the rest of the year ….

If anyone actually thinks Trevor has shown any elite qualities since he was drafted then you’re delusional. He’s made a few nice throws… sometimes… he’s also fumbled more than any other QB. He constantly gets sacked when he doesn’t need to be. His decision making is questionable.

I’m a fan of the TEAM not of Trevor. He’s not been good enough, in a conference of elite QBs

Umm the Chargers game where he came back was elite. What other QB has had the mental toughness to throw 4 picks then lead his team to a win. Watched Manning, Brady and Mahomes fail to do that. He's not playing elite but he has the ability and has shown it. He also played Elite in the Ravens and Cowboys game last year.

Honestly that's the only game. He has had moments. I think its just a combination of qb,line play and the playcalling. I want them to let him sling it all over just more aggressive is it possible with the current oline idk

You can simultaneously criticize him and still hope he stays. If I were the QB coach, I'd start by just trying to eliminate the silly mistakes and improving the decision making in the pocket. I realize the OL sucks but he seems to be missing open guys way too much. Need to work on ball security. Reducing the small mistakes can add up.

I think our weapons outside of ETN are overhyped Ridley defiantly is and our o line is a joke both of which are made even worse by bad play calling. Honestly you can't move on from Lawrence as he's flashed enough to think he can get there. It's the same thing that happened with Tua, and Goeff. Lawrence may not be Manning, Brees, or Brady but nothing says he can't be Big Bin, Stafford, Geoff.

The one good side effect of this is we may not end up having to pay Lawrence and insane contract.

Well I listed 3 where I feel he played at that same level but yes it's mostly moments at this point. The thing that lends to hope is those moments were sustained though a period of time not just a flash in the pan. Mahomes was the only Qb with more TDs then lawrence from week 9 on last year and Lawrence had less interceptions.

He's not a do it all on his own guy he needs a good supporting cast which is fine but we clearly don't have it right now.

Of course he does, he made a lot of mistakes today. I was primarily referring to the dozen or so posters who are going to turn up just to whine about this performance and how bad he is that remain absent when he's playing well. 

You were bashing TL last season when he was playing poorly and you stuck around when he played well and made honest comments even if I personally didn't agree with all of the criticisms. I respect that. (not that it matters what I think - fans are gonna fan regardless and they are all free to do that here) 

I just don't understand the mentality of those who seem to thrive on bashing and complaining. Seems like a miserable way to "enjoy" being a football fan.

I'm a Trevor fan but I don't think he's "great" right now. However I put most of the blame this week on the Oline. I mean I saw several plays the DE just ran right past our guy without being blocked. The kirk fumble fortner was just standing there rather than touching him down.

This is about where I am. He’s good but has a some more edges to polish up and the line has to do better.
