Resign Hasty for Bigsby?

#21

To be honest, I don't see it. I could see him being cut. He has not shown anything dynamic. I know he is a rookie but probably the worst start I have seen from a RB position.

What about Scoop, who doesn't even see the field?

Snoop's on the PS. Are you suggesting we call him up to stink instead?

Bigsby is best running between the tackles, but unfortunately for him, we are very weak at Guard and Center.

Mostly just C, it's too early to tell on Little, I think by the end of the year our shiny new guard will be the starter. I anticipate Walker backing up Cam or we move Cam or Walker for picks. We need them, and we need to figure out the O and D lines, pick them until you have quality starters there... It's not rocket science, the best teams either have elite Linemen, QBs, or both. Keep picking them until you hit on them.

Baalke needs to stop drafting LBs and needs to start drafting nothing but linemen in rounds 1-3. We have solid guys everywhere but our O/D lines. Need a mauler NT and someone to compliment Allen in pass rush. Get a good C and draft a guard that we can develop and plug in when Scherff is gone in 24.

I generally agree that the Jags could do better at GM but it’s waaaay to early to label Bigsby a bust. And this is from someone who nicknamed him Butterfingers McFly earlier this year.

He seems to have good vision and acceleration but he’s not getting many chances because he’s a turnover machine. That can be improved though. If he gets his confidence back and gets in a rhythm he’ll be the second best back on the team. But whether he’ll do it or not depends on him and the coaching staff, not on Baalke.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

In his defense, his latest turnover was not really a turnover.  He was on the ground when the ball came loose.

Draft and develop. He has the requisite skills to be a productive player on this team.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Tank offsides! It’s too early to say bust, but he needs to get it together.

Still better than ETN's rookie year. Then in year 2 everyone was down on the fumbles. Bisgby seem to be right on schedule.

Yep, way early.

Doug went crazy on the ref over that call. I am not sure, but I believe he was gonna challenge it, but not sure if you can do that. The play clock hit 0 then Tank fired off.  The call should have been delay of game. I was watching clock and the play. From where I sat it appeared he was a sec or two AFTER the clock hit zeros.  ( I'll have to watch the tape to be sure) After Doug "discussed" it with the ref they started calling delay on the Titans.

I have nothing to be OK over.  Your disdain for Etienne is just over the top [BLEEP] weird.  So we’ll add up Bigsby’s first two years and see if he comes close to equaling Etienne’s year last year.  But before then I’m sure we’ll see several more asinine statements.  Pretty [BLEEP] weird to continually soil yourself over one of the best players on the team.

What in the living [BLEEP] are you highlighting my response for and giving that response.  Do you have a clue what I’m even referring to?  Obviously not.

I don't disdain ETN, I'm critical of the draft pick. Bigsby is a 3rd rounder I wouldn't have taken but he's here. I'm generally critical of all the morons who trip over themselves to label any rookie a bust as quick as they can. Bigsby needs to get better but he's a rookie 2nd day pick, they make mistakes and hopefully he grows from it, because we need to get some carries off ETN for the longer term.

We need a lot more blowout wins so Bigsby can get playing time. He didn't look bad in his limited snaps, other than the absolutely boneheaded offsides.
