Lol, a coach who knows his linemen can't run block. Not really all that confusing.

ding ding

The good news, Rauscher can go ahead and reorder those 31st OL tee shirts for motivation (unless he wants to edit to 32nd)

I mean when one lines up on 1st down and does the same run play over and over again, eventually it becomes predictable...

Just sayin'...

ETN, from September to October, behind this terrible O-Line was a top 5 rushing RB.  But eventually batters start to key on the fastball...

In other words, the defense begins to realize that the 1st down play call is a running play up the gut.  And then the other play calls normally less than 10 yards out.  So everyone just sits on all the routes and hunkers down on the Line in case there is a run.

Just watching the Jaguars this year is so obvious.  It just is.  There are teams with O-Lines as bad as ours.  And yet they still look dynamic.  We look static for at least 2 quarters a game.  It's just not the same offense from last year.  The O-Line isn't to blame for the predictability.  The lack of OC imagination is the reason for that.

The play calls have been a problem all season. Doug is so much more better and in tune with what the team needs.

Did the Browns have a good OL? They were missing 2 Ts but had a better gameplan. The running game they tried some different things but passing was terrible. Against all that pressure, we saw no screens or passes out of the backfield. Flacco was killing the Jags blitzing with quick dump offs but the Jags didn't do any of that.

The Jags keep trying to force some normal passing attack that they planned in the off-season and thought would work. They need to adjust to the reality of the OL and WRs. The talent is there in the WRs but if they keep trying to run all the routes outside the numbers, it is never going to work with this OL.

If you listened to the broadcast they kept referring to their multiple pro bowl linemen,  so yeah...they did.

They were on back Ts but they schemed around them. The C also had to be replaced mid game.

ETN needs to stop helicopter parenting his siblings and focus on being the Jags primary RB

They didn't scheme around anything, they ran their offense and their guys are better than ours.

Yes agreed. I don’t get why he relinquished his play calling duties. Look at Mike McCarthy with the cowboys. He’s doing what pederson should be doing. At least wait until you win a superbowl with that particular team before you kick back and let someone else call the plays and give up a huge advantage of yours.

This isn't the same team we saw last year.

Certain Mods have insulted me.  But I've been proven correct.

This is a trash offense.  And it's not the O-Line that is the problem.

We just watched this entire team absolutely dominate the Ravens for an entire half.  And yet this OC's play calling was atrocious.  Pederson is a SB winning coach.  But if he's going to continue to let Press Taylor run the offense then get rid of both of them.

There are younger, more hungry coaches that are better attuned to how an NFL offense should work.

This offense looks like Gabbert and Bortles under the center.  This is a trash offense.  Don't tell me otherwise.  It's clear after ever game.

I kept saying that this offense didn't look like last year, and I kept getting insulted.  But it's obvious.  This is just a trash offense.  And what's worse is that it's obvious that this OC is making Trevor Lawrence look even worse.

Lawrence is regressing.  It's obvious now.  You can see it.  There is nothing but first reads and out route throws that are less than the 1st down marker.  It's a trash offensive scheme.  This wasn't what we saw last year.

It's not.  Lawrence and the WR's last year were running and throwing to routes well beyond 10 yards.  This isn't the same offense as last year.  But we should be OK with it???

It's beyond me how some people are so willing to eat [BLEEP] all the time.  I guess they like the taste of [BLEEP]?  I personally don't like that flavor.

Pedersons downfall in Philly was misplaced faith and stubbornness.

It may be so here. He’s lying about Press being the caller at any point last year plain and simple

We have a great QB, we have a good RB.  We have decent WRs.  Our O-Line is better than most, not as great as others.  And yet we can't do jack squat but look like fools.

We are predictable.  We don't do anything dynamic.  Our offense looks just like it did under Gus Bradley, Mike Mularkey, Doug Marrone, and Urban Meyer....

We supposedly have a franchise QB and yet we use him like he's David Garrard, Blaine Gabbert, and Blake Bortles...

1st read QB that throws quick or runs out... There is nothing new here.  It's trash offense that I've seen since 2008.  And no, it's not the O-Line that is the problem.

We have an offense that insists on running the play clock down to 1 second dozens of times a game - allowing the defense to know
Exactly when to jump off the ball and pin their ears back. So dumb,
So predictable, so lacking any momentum. We play offense without any momentum.

It weird how you see what you want to see. Shame it's not reality, but them's the breaks.

This is what I think. I think the one weakness on this team that leads to all of our problems is our offensive line cannot run block. If they could run block better, we could restore balance to our offense and we wouldn't have to put the entire offense on Trevor's shoulders. As a result of not having a better running attack, Trevor has to try to do too much, and therefore, sprinkled in among some great plays are some really bad ones. But it all comes down to the offensive line not being able to run block.
Our QB is fine. We can roll with him for 10 more years. But without a decent running attack, we will continue to have these frustrations.

Stop it, don't you know Carp8 said our line is better than most? Everything is bad because Press Taylor doesn't hit the truck stick enough.
