This would save the university over half a billion dollars, so it's clear how IMPORTANT this lawsuit is... now here's where the ACC really messed up:

In 2016, the ACC signed a 11 year TV deal with ESPN, currently set to expire in 2027. This deal also gave ESPN the option to extend the contract from 2027-2036 on the same terms financially...

ESPN had to decide by 2021 whether they would extend from 2027-2036, but ACC commissioner Jim Phillips extended that deadline to February 2025 in a formal amendment that he allegedly signed ON HIS OWN... ?

The ACC bylaws currently require approval from 2/3rds of all members for any amendments, making this action by Phillips a VIOLATION. Legal experts believe that this egregious action technically invalidates the ENTIRE conference contract

This may be the smoking gun that breaks the ACC's Grant of Rights ?

Look at Missouri beating Ohio State 14-3 late in the 4th.

And this is why nobody wanted to watch Florida State get rolled in the playoffs. For good reason. Down 21-3 in basically 1 quarter and some change.

Edit: and they just turned it over inside their own 30 lolololol

and Georgia scores on their first play lololololol 28-3 now.

Still over 10 minutes left in the 2nd quarter lol

I get they have backups and all, but let’s be real, the score wouldn’t be much different. Georgia athletically just way better. Even if Travis played, Georgia still wins prolly by 7-14 pts. FSU just can’t compete with Georgia’s talent and without Travis, they can’t compete with any of the talent in the final 4. That Louisville team they struggled with just lost to a team filled with USC backups lol The ACc is just really bad.

I’m not sure the Jags would win with Lawrence. We’re playing like [BLEEP] all-around right now.

And I’m sorry…I like Norvell and all, but without Travis, they are not in Georgia’s weight class. The ACC is terrible. They just can’t compete with a team like Georgia. Maybe with Travis they could have it within 2 touchdowns right now.

42-3 and the half ends with a FSU INT lol.

This is the largest half time lead in HISTORY lolol.

Personally, if it was me, I would have told ESPN and The CFP Committee the same thing I just told Eric and I would have refused to play after that snub.

But it's not up to me.

I remind you that FSU struggled with a Louisville team who just got their clock cleaned a bunch of USC scrubs. And that team would have a chance in the college football playoff? The ACC is worse than the MAC this year.

I wouldn’t have played it, either. And I give Norvell credit for playing knowing this was coming. But even full strength minus Travis, the talent is still not in the same ballpark as Georgia, who is also missing a couple of their top players. Imagine if they had Bowers, who may be the best player in next years draft.

So basically, the games mean nothing and neither does your final season record.

So why play these games if only a certain handful of teams are going to get to play in the playoffs despite their record?

Injuries are part of the game, not an excuse to snub a team.

This is nothing but a glorified scrimmage game.

Because if we put FSU in, they’d have gotten humiliated and we’d be sitting here saying how the hell did they get in the final four.

The committee put it in their rules that injuries can alter their rankings. And if you watched that Louisville and Florida game, FSU without Travis is horrible. For the record, Georgia, Bama, Michigan and Texas to me are far and away the best 4.

Do you think if FSU got in the final 4, they’d seriously have a chance to win…errr…stay within 3 touchdowns of any of those teams? I think record matters, but you have to factor in talent and schedule too. The FSU talent is not there, esp without Travis. I mean, I would argue Liberty should be ranked over FSU.

As for why play a bowl game, well, that’s just the tradition of the sport. Things change next year, obviously.

Doesn't matter what I think. But I'll tell you what I do know, is that the majority of the opt outs and transfers came AFTER the snub, so therefore, we only would have missing 1 starter, al beit it's the most important position, but you can't sit there and tell me that any team out there would have wiped the floor with FSU with all of their starters playing. They would have had a good of a chance as anyone. But they didn't get the chance because opinion > record.
